Food poisoning. My husband was vomiting all night and I had diarrhea and terrible gas. They refused to refund. Will never go here again. We’ve been customers for years but not after this experience.

This is our to go spot. We pick up our soups there. Kids love the chicken noodle, as expected. I like their split pea. Sometimes it is available in a frozen jar.

Terrible shame. I grew up on, and thrived on, good Scottish soups that had flavourand nourished. It doesn't have to be fancy. We bought a clam chowder. That was ok. The lentil soup was just gloop that had no taste. I know folk are nervous about salt, but it is required for food to taste of SOMETHING. Such promise, Such a disappointment.

I love Soop! They serve the most delicious homemade soups that are perfect for any occasion. I go to Soop for a pick me up and I'm never disappointed!

Had an order of two soups ($~6/ea.): fresh soups made daily - with vegetarian & vegan options. Food was delicious, staff was unitary, and the ambiance was unique (a long narrow food court with establishments on one side of the space only).

Soup here is gross. I was excited because I really enjoy soup, but the soup lacked flavor, was weirdly sweet (it was a split pea soup with turkey) and it was advertised as having ham but when I arrived it had turkey in it. The soup I wanted was listed but they did not even have the soup. Another soup looked old and was hard and dried out looking. It was all bad. I'm guessing I caught this place on a bad day, but things are much slower due to quarantine so it seems they should be on point. Won't be coming back.

My Vietnamese sandwich here was adequate at best; they had trouble getting it made between taking care of orders of soup. The soup looked fine and might have well been what I should have gone with.

Excellent tasty soup!

Really friendly staff served me one of the most tasteless chicken soups I've ever had in what, for my childhood and young adult life has been a culinary stronghold. Whole Foods, whose food section dipped hard after the acquisition by Amazon and had staged a comeback, is the reigning champ. Does somebody go through and taste these every day and say "ah just right?" I doubt it. I will try again next time I'm home.

Can I give NEGATIVE stars? Customer service was abysmal! Walked out with no food due to argumentative staff member.

Worst customer service EVER! Simply abysmal. I've been sick and wanted soup and hadn't been here in a long time so I thought I'd give it a try. I diligently checked the website to ensure there was a soup being made today that I could tolerate. I drove to Shattuck, found a parking spot and slowly made my way down the street. This was quite an effort due to my recent illness. When I asked for the soup I wanted I was told they didn't have it on Tuesdays. I explained my confusion in that I had checked the web site that morning and it showed it was available today. The response? "Well, it's not on the web site now. You should have called." Then the clerk walked away. No offer of, 'may I get your something else.... or anything." I did not raise my voice, I was not blaming, I simply stated my confusion. Blaming your customers for your error? Not OK. Listen people. If you have a food business based on daily changes in the menu, make sure your web site is accurate. And above all else, do not get into blaming the client. That never ends well. Train your staff in customer service. I doubt they'll miss my small contribution to their company's bottom line, but at least I can spread the word that they do not care about their customers. If that matters to you, go elsewhere.
