I've been coming to Souvenir cafe since it opened. It is a gem in coffe shop landscape of the Bay Area. It small with comfortable seating. I enjoy studying there or seeing friends. The staff is very friendly and the drinks are well prepared. My Oatmilk Matcha latte is always excellent and the pastries and small dishes are fresh and crunchy. They close relatively early at 5pm so I make certain to come early enough to really enjoy myself. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for cffee/tea and more!!!

This is a special spot. I’m a coffee snob and keenly attuned to energy and this is truly a special place. I probably shouldn’t share this. But I don’t live in Berkeley. I spent time in the area over the holidays and still thinking about it. Enjoy!

Awful. Waited for 10+ minutes after ordering a regular cup of coffee. The barista just stood there chatting with another co-worker and seemingly couldn’t care less about doing his job. Don’t go here unless you want your time wasted. The coffee also sucked. Boo.

Quiet little neighborhood cafe that is perfect for reading, studying, working or hanging out with friends. I got a standard breakfast sando. Flavor is okay but it’s soft and warm, comforting. Backyard garden is very lovely. Would come back again.
