Had a great poke bow that really hit the spot! The customer service is pretty good. They're very busy in here so expect that. The dining section has some nice tables for two and a few for slight bigher groups. The bathroom was clean and for customers only, so it's locked and theres a key at the front desk. Water is given in a little tank and drinks to purchase are behind the front counter. They also have benches inside to wait on, if one is grabbing takeout.
Sushi Secrets is the best poke in Berkeley because it explores the full taste/texture landscape. Poke is a game of tastes and textures. With 5 basic tastes and maybe 5 big textures, there is a 25-taste-texture ingredient-space to exist in. Two bites means 25*25 = 625 mouth-possibilities. Sushi Secrets is where you go to optimize actualization of mouth-possibilities for the dollar. It was better before they changed their menu :( something about their sushi burritos is off and they're not as good as it used to be2023 edit: they're back to what they were before! Plus they have poke bowls now. Definitely recommend the sushi burritos now, they're so good!
