Oh man! This place truly delivers an amazing Mexican taste! Every bite feels authentic and full of flavor. Last time we visited, we tried three different dishes, and honestly, they were all exceptionally good—perfectly seasoned, well-prepared, and served fresh.

Be prepared for a bit of a line when you arrive, but trust me, it’s totally worth the wait! The staff is efficient, so the line moves quickly, and you won’t be standing around for too long. Plus, the anticipation just makes the meal even more satisfying.

A must-try here is their house-made 'aguas.' They are not only refreshing but also super creative, with unique flavors that complement the food perfectly. I highly recommend giving them a shot!

Came here on a Sunday so the place was packed, but food came out fairly quickly. Parking was hard to find, especially since it was a weekend. They had plenty of vegetarian options, and food and drinks were great!

Let's cut to the chase, the food here is sub-par considering the fact that it seems to be actual Latinos cooking the food. I had the pescado taco and the carnitas tacos. They were both probably some of the worst tacos I've ever had at that expensive price point.

They were all bland the carnitas was extremely dry with little to no flavor and the tortillas were super chewy and had a strange texture. The fish tacos aka pescado tasted like nothing. Just batter and crunch from the cabbage. I was so disappointed!! The only thing that made them edible was the avocado salsa and the salsa Verde. For the money you pay the food is not worth it at all. Just get a drink and some chips!!! Would go here again but would not bother with the food. It's forgettable at best and flavorless at its worst. If you want real Mexican food just go to Concord!!!

This place is yummy and I often because it's nearby. however, gluten free people need to be VERY careful. The chicken taco consistently gets me sick even though it's marked as gluten free. The steak tacos are yummy!

Worst Burrito I’ve ever had. Rice was undercooked, lacked flavor, and they used plain pulled chicken instead of grilled chicken! There was no taste at all!!! I couldn’t finish it and ordered from another place. I have no idea why this place was full! Maybe other items on the menu are better tasting? One star for the nice workers.

I wish I could give it a 0. Worst taco I have ever had. Just tasted bad… like… boiled chicken? Took one bite, spit it out and threw it away. For a 6.00 taco! Staff was friendly, food came out quickly.

Perfect Spot for Groups and Families!

Tacubaya is hands down one of the best places to gather with friends or family. Their red and green chilaquiles are out of this world—perfectly sauced with just the right crunch. The refried black beans are flawless, creamy, and packed with flavor. And their homemade tortillas? Pure perfection—fresh, warm, and a must-have with any meal.

The casual, welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy great food and conversation, whether you’re with a big group or just your family. Everyone always leaves happy and full. Highly recommend for delicious Mexican food and a great time!

Honestly the food, staffing, and atmosphere are really good, it's just way too overpriced for guac and chip. Why is it $14 for shrimp ceviche and chips, and also $14 for guac and chips? The portions are way to small for the price. I would have expected around 8 bucks for this, not $14.
