I went there with my wife, and we both ordered the same dish—Beef Hot Soup with medium spice. Each dish comes with either rice or noodles, so I chose rice for myself and noodles for my wife (we shared).

The medium spice level wasn’t spicy enough for me, so I added some extra heat using the sauce on the table.

Overall, it was okay. However, it’s not something I’d crave for lunch or dinner regularly (I typically do that when I really enjoy a dish).

On a cold day, this soup is great for warming up.

Dined here 10/3/2024 and saw they adjusted their prices, it's now cheaper!! At first we thought they had a promo going on and asked about it. They said they just adjusted the prices as food cost had gone down and easier to hire people now. Also more competition too. Anyways we're happy!! It's so cheap now, lamb pot that I always get is only 14.99 and Sichuan pot when I want spicy is 17.99. Quality remained the same. We will probably visit more frequently now!!

It really has the flavor of Taiwanese hot pot, and the songs played in the store are also popular Taiwanese songs, which made me return to Taiwan in a second.

Food is delicious! We ordered the classic beef hot pot soup (沙茶牛肉鍋)and 3 Cheesy Milk hot soup (三起司牛奶鍋) with the max spicy flavor. We have spice tolerance and the max spicy (極辣)was a comfortable spice level for us. The cheese hot pot was not spicy. Both soups were flavorful and we got it with the glass noodles! Large portions for a good price with a large degree of customization!

Service was very quick and efficient. The shop plays great music - my favorite canto and mando pop hits!

One hotpot per person. I enjoyed it because it tasted different from malatang. I ate it at level 4 and it was nice that the fire was turned on underneath so I could keep eating warm.

I’ve been there a lot times, and it’s a good place if you wanna try hot pot sometime around Berkeley (only one), the price is acceptable and my favorite is that you can eat alone as well as go with friends

Went to eat last night. I ordered the miso hotpot. It took almost half an hour for the dish to arrive. I took a bite of the udon and it was cold. I had to wait for a while before eating it. Then I ate the crab in it and it was smelly. . The crab meat is like mud ? There are too few waiters and the service is too slow. I have been to other restaurants before and it was not like this one. . Hope it will be greatly improved

Have dinner at the Tasty Pot restaurant near your hotel? How touching it is to be able to eat heart-warming and stomach-warming hot pot in the United States There are many diverse restaurant choices around the University of Berkeley? The nostalgic Taiwanese flavor - something like San Ma's Hot Pot actually costs NT$4,374 (including 18% tip). After traveling to Europe and the United States, you will find that prices in Taiwan are cheap in comparison?Of course~ Salaries in Europe and the United States are higher than those in Taiwan The flavor of the small hot pot is average, and the ingredients are just like Taiwanese San Ma. The pot is too flat and many of the ingredients are floating on the top of the soup. If you add more ingredients, it will be difficult to cook it?For example: dumplings?

The weather was cold and it's perfect for hotpot. Tasty Pot is one of those hotpot places that the pot is served individually. They have several selections and I always chose stinky tofu, even though I complained that they were stink at all. The portion of beef in the pot was adequate, but the the broth was little bit less than other places. The food was decent like mediocre. The services were slightly above average. Overall, the rating from me was average. The parking was kinda difficult during the day and night.

THE REVIEWER CAN NO LONGER RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.RUDE, HOSTILE SERVICE, DIFFICULT ORDERING PROCESS. I came in first several people were waited on ahead of me despite the fact that I ordered first, I got the distinct feeling that non-Chinese people are not welcome here.I supported them strongly when they opened, but I can no longer support them. Also the, " free noodles" option on the menu is no longer free, or they just change that for me I'm going to look into it.Whatever the case, if they don't like the locals they should shut down the restaurant. I'm going to advise that none of my friends go here anymore. After nearly 30 million views, and 2000 reviews of East Bay restaurants, this was the worst experience I've had.Features: Parking is a little tricky around here, so if you can carpool or Park a few blocks away and walk in might be easier than circling the block 20 times to find a spot the way I did.

The food here falls in the middle—it's not the best, but it's not the worst either. The spicy pot brings some heat, and the portions are huge! The combinations they offer are a bit different from what I'm used to, but it's not bad, I would say.
