A beautiful tea shop with excellent tea and tea accessories. The staff were extremely friendly and showed me how to do gong fu style brewing for my yellow tea! In just one visit this has quickly become one of my favorite tea houses in the bay.
Teance is a Berkeley institution. The shop is beautifully laid out: elegany and sparse. Their tea inventory is beautifully crafted. Teaware such as Chinese Yi-jing teapots and fine porcelain tea cups are available. The shop features tea tasting with staff offering friendly, knowledgeable advice and answering questions with detailed explanations.
