The Taco game is heating up in the East Bay, with over 50 taco trucks in various locations that were not there 10 years ago. It's like the world is finally waking up to how great tacos are and taco trucks are spreading like a virus, but a virus we love, and want to get all the time. The Bay's tacos, a small independent chain with four or five trucks in the East Bay, are making a strong showing.I ordered some suadero tacos that didn't have that "Comal", taste that I like, (infused with Longaniza and Manteca flavors) but it did have chunks that were "doradito", (crispy and golden) which I thought was a nice twist on the classic. The tortillas were really fresh, and the horchata, was sweet. One thing I did notice though, was that the salsa here is a little better than the salsa at a lot of the other trucks. Some of the trucks in the East Bay, serve great tacos, but they don't really have a tight salsa game. The Bay's taco truck, has top shelf salsa.Another win for taco lovers in the Berkeley Oakland area!Vegetarian options: Vegetarians might find one or two dishes here, but this is the land of meat, buddy. Get it straight.Parking: More about parking

Amazing service and mouth watering food. I cannot wait to come back to this place, it was such a great experience. The lady serving us as so sweet and even gave me a larger size even tho I ordered a smaller one. I can't wait to come back.

Never going back to this taco truck ever again! I went yesterday and ordered two burritos and when I got home my order was completely wrong. The truck it self has one telephone number, and their website has two different numbers and google pulls up a different number. I called each number and no one answered, so today I tried again and the same woman who took my ordered answered the phone and said she would remake my order and to come in 10mins. I get there and waited over 10mins for her to ask me cash or card. I answered I'm the one who called you said you was remaking my order, she then turns to the guy that I narmally see and says something in Spanish, I explained what happened and he says "well that was yesterday" so now you need to pay $38. I said why would I repay for an order that you messed up on, had me come out my way to get the correct order, then try to re charge me. He looks at my receipt then says, "is this from this truck". I replied back and said, "now you playing games.. you know damn well it's from your truck, the name is on the receipt. He then says "I don't speak English" and walks aways.. He literally was just talking English just fine! This was my second or third time at this taco truck always spending around $30+. Not only did they lose a valued customer, playing that "don't speak English" statement didn't sit well with me and really rubbed me the wrong way. I would never buy again from this truck or recommend. Thankfully I was able to contact my bank to reimburse me! PS- Did I mention, the order that was suppose to be remade was also wrong, when he read back the oder to me.. The lady completely messed my order up once again. And the guy had a attitude and didn't want to remake my order unless I paid for it which was never going to happen.

The tacos were super delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we got exactly what we wanted. And let me tell you, those tacos were just bursting with flavor - the perfect blend of spices, fresh ingredients, and tender meat. Plus, their homemade salsa is to die for!The prices are super reasonable, and the portions are just right.

The birria here is indeed good. I had two tacos, one with birria and one with carnitas. Both were very tasty, accompanied by not-too-hot jalapenos and slices of radish. Service quick. Now 3 plastic chairs in front. Parking on University Ave is easy to find, though metered.

A total find! They have the best Birria Tacos ever and I'm glad they're a few doors down from my shop!

The outside is very unassuming, but everything that comes out of this taco truck is absolutely delicious. Everything is hot and fresh + meals come with these yummy pickled jalapeños/ carrots and chips/ salsa. We've been here three times now and everything we've ordered has been great - the chicken flautas (pictured) are my favorite, they are smothered in pico, cilantro, and sour cream. All the workers are also so kind and fast + the prices are super reasonable (especially for the portions), I would highly recommend!!!

Had a Suadero burrito. Service was quick. Burrito was great. Came with pickled jalapenos and carrots as well as chips and green salsa. The salsa was spicier than I expected and really good. Not really any parking in the lot; lucky I had to get gas as well. Huge menu offering. Definitely worth stopping by again.

Stopped here to get a shrimp and steak burrito. It was delicious and filling. The salsa tasted fresh. I would go back again. It's worth trying if you're hungry.

Did a random drive by when I was hungry and with 1 review thought I'd give it a go. I hate when taco trucks also serve burgers and other random items but was pleasant surprised The $14 quesabirria was actually very well done. Juicy and crisp with a great caldo. No tables so be prepared to balance larger plates in your lap Worth stopping for
