Italian Homemade always hits the spot. I’ve loved their SF locations for years and I’ve recently started coming to the Berkeley location - perfect for a tasty dinner before or after a show at the Rialto nearby. Tonight we came in just before closing and they were happy to have us sit and enjoy our dinner and drinks even after closing time. Come for the knockout lasagna (best split between two people) and stay for the strawberry panna cotta - a sleeper hit on the menu!
Amazing Italian food... like a Trattoria classico ...polite staff ...good vibes! Try daily specials, lasagna, meatball platter with flat bread or panini caprese... all delicious 😋
Absolutely loved this place! The pasta was fresh and delicious — especially the tagliatelle with Bolognese and a generous amount of cheese on top. The flatbread on the side was a great surprise and paired perfectly with the meal. Cozy and welcoming interior with a rustic touch, and everything was clean and well organized. You can tell they put care into both their food and the space. Definitely a hidden gem — I’ll be coming back!
