Quaint little used bookstore with coffee shop and sufficient menu to fill your appetite. If I were a university student at Berkeley, this is where I would be studying.I enjoyed a cinnamon biscuit with compote, and my friend enjoyed avocado, toast, with hummus. Coffees were perfectly made with Oatmilk.

Nadia, one of the baristas was excellent and empathetic when it came to addressing the non-operative WiFi. She said that a sign will be up to clearly communicate that it's not available or it's not working. I'm writing this to let other students know about the WiFi issue.

I was looking for dessert and saw the string quartet in the window. Decided to get a decaf latte and piece of blueberry pound cake. Enjoyed one beautiful song by string quartet. It was their last song of the day:( Their music made it magical. No music, much more ordinary.

Exceptional food made with fine ingredients.
No wifi
The vibe is good here, but there’s no wi-fi.
If you want to just hang out with friends or study without using electronics devices, it’s a good place for you :)

Staff is friendly, food is great, and atmosphere is nice. My only complaint is that both times I’ve been there my food has had hairs on it. :(

Literally 5 Stars across the board!! Their staff is amazing everyday of the week! The food always has me ready to take a nap after eating!!! You have to try the BLTA, made to perfection everytime! Thank you, you all and all that you do are highly appreciated!

My favorite coffee shop in Berkeley! they occasionally have live music and the food+coffee is sooo good and affordable.
