This place is by far my favorite place when it comes to eating Dosa or even the Veg Thali's. From the time you enter the place to the time you are ready to leave, the service is amazing, atmosphere is great, like we can actually sit down and communicate calmly with our parties without worrying about the noise level.
Udupi had some solid vegetarian south indian options for the east bay standards. I have been to both this and the SF location and both are pretty similar is level.
The fried "donut" thing that came with my Udupi combo was delicious with such an interesting texture! Definitely left full for what is a pretty affordable dinner at $12-$15/person

Went to dine in and enjoyed the house curry dosa (personal favorite!), medu Vada, and onion chili uthapam highly recommend!
