I love Vault Cafe!!When I want to have a great Brunch, Vault is the best option. My favorite plates are: Eggs Benedict, waffle, pancakes, omelets and of course the ginormous and delicious Orange juice. All employees are nice and friendly, like you're home. And the food feels homemade too.
Had the cheese burger and fries great deal even better food and wonderful customer service
Food was good and atmosphere nice. The chips and salsa were great but they were very chincy with the chips. The sopes would make me come back!
The food was delivered hot and ready! The burger was a burger, nothing special. The jambalaya tasted more like tomatoes featuring rice and 2 shrimps; my New Orleans homies would have more to say than me. I was hungry. I ordered. I ate. I napped. Food was good enough to put me in a food comma. End of discussion.
The service here is always great all the time their attitudes are always good it's a great place to go get something to eat
Good food with large portions. The staff is friendly and the prices are great! I've been going for years
Consistently good. Nice people , big portions .
I love this place. It is in my neighbourhood, so we Eat there often. The menus has not changed since the new owners took over. Their prices stayed the same too. That is a big plus and I give it 5 stars, easily. Right now, it is a great place to go to, because It is not crowded, and you can sit 6 feet apart easily. I hope it says open.
Great food! Love the room! Super high ceilings & lots of light .. really loved it
Hmmm ok food, great customer service and nice location!
Large space, great ambiance, huge mimosas and crossaint sandwiches! Friendly service! My go-to Saturday spot.
Recent discovery! Decent prices, VERY friendly and sweet staff. Brought my dog and sat outside, and to my surprise, our waiter provided a dog bowl for water. Food was just fine! Would come here again for breakfast.
Funky Berkeley cafe with comfy old library chairs and old worn tables. Very good American breakfast and lunch with big portions. Fruit on the side is a whole serving for example and the croissants are bigger than my fist. Big place with ample seating so getting a seat isn't hard. They are however understaffed so getting a server to take the order, bring coffee etc. can take a while. Don't go if you're in a rush! Staff is friendly tho and means well. If the service were more timely and we didn't have to beg for coffee refills then even with funky run down decor I'd go five stars. Food is worth the trip.
My thoughts: This is a traditional classic All American restaurant that is been around the Berkley area through out the up and down of the economy. And any restaurant can survive the harsh business world is A OK in my book. Plus they do serve good American comfort food and maintain a reasonable price. Here is my scoring card for this restaurant: 1) Location: ( 4 Point ) - Great location for customer to see and find. Ok on parking for street parking. 2) Decoration : (2 Point) - They still have the original decoration. Clean but not up to date. 3) Price: ( 4 point)- The price is competitive but still a little bit pricey compare to other same stars and type food they serve 4) Quality and Taste : ( 4 point)- The quality is good, food taste is good and portions are good. 5) Type of cuisine standard : ( 4 point) - The style of comfort food they serve is pretty close to the way it was prepare in USA. Not bad! But some dishes did have slightly modify to cater the customer's need Overall it's not bad and I thinks it's great to give it a try and let me know what you think. Go foodies Total max is 25 Score 18 Stars = 72% round up to 3 stars
