Pretty sure this store isn’t open until 2 am, or even 1 am. On at least two occasions, I made the trek to this store as it appeared to be the only one open. (I am a night owl, and the pandemic has already made it harder, besides most places close so early in this town.) And it was clearly closed. I now completely avoid it and wish I could remove it from the map entirely. Disappointing. It’s not that hard to update your hours online so you don’t waste chstomers’ time.

Will never rent UHaul from this place again. They are deceitful in calculating the gas and mileage. And even after I discovered and showed them proof from photos before I rented the vehicle that they had incorrectly logged the gas, the man insisted on overcharging me an additional fuel fee. It probably isn't worth your time, money, and effort, even if UHaul reimburses me the charge, because the staff at this liquor store have such a terrible attitude.

So a lot of these pictures are of the bar across the street from this place. White House liquor is the storefront that is also an authorized Krispy krunchy chicken. They usually sell out of the chicken by 6pm and the rest isn't fresh anymore after 8 forsure. They sell lottery scratches and blunts and backwoods if your in need and don't want to buy like 20 at a time

A great place to meet up with a friend or two and have a drink. While I was taking pictures, someone gawked at me...I did my best to ignore them.I have read it is the oldest operating gay bar in the US.There's lots of space to hang out with friends. It is bigger than it looks from the oitside. They have a pool table, and a fireplace. It can be hard to find parking on the main street, but I was able to find parking on a side street.Drinks are reasonably priced.

Thought the chicken was pretty solid - order two wings which were huge and two chicken breasts. Chicken was very good - wasn't greasy and I liked the coating which had a tiny bit of spice. The biscuit was fresh and flaky very good as well. I didn't order any additional sides. Personally, preferred this chicken to KFC and Popeyes. Walked in and out in less than 5 minutes - service was nice with available parking out in front. I will definitely be back.

Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a low brow Popeye's Wannabe. Instead of an expensive standalone storefront, they operate as a hot food franchise at established liquor stores and gas station. Only a countertop warmer display and signage designates it sells Cajun fried chicken. The bone-in pieces have been marinated with cajun spices and then battered and fried producing a very crunchy and extremely salty product. The tender pieces may be crunchy but the chicken is dry and combined with the batter, they're salty strips of chicken jerky. The large wedge fried potatoes are crisp with Cajun spices and are worth trying if they're hot. All fried foods are best right out of the fryer but dries out and deteriorates under the hot warmers. Since a liquor store or gas station doesn't usually have a fryer, you can't wait for a fresh batch. If you're really determined to have fried chicken, always ask how long they've been out of the fryer. More than 15-20 min and the quality is questionable. Compared to other crunchy fried chicken takeouts that offers a crispy, Cajun option, I'd rank Krispy Krunchy just one step above KFC but way below Popeyes and even Church's because they can provide fried chicken fresh out of the fryer.
