Grubhub order. Food is sooo good. We got the chicken plate and katsu was crunchy and I like the savory of it even wo dipping the sauce. My fav is the teriyaki the taste is so rich and flavorful. Good price Will def come back

Decided to try a new Hawaiian bbq spot and this place was an absolute success. Ordered chicken katsu and pork chop plates through takeout and got a proper serving of food that left us feeling happy and satisfied. This spot seems to truly fill their customers appetite with love through food.

It was over priced with a really nasty piece of teriyaki “beef”. Not sure why they’re call Hawaiian bbq. Teriyaki beef is pretty common and easy to do. They failed.

Super clean, very nice lady at the front cashier :), food was very fast and fresh. Loved the selection of the menu, a lot of variety and theres something for everyone! Good prices as well, especially for the area. Went here because our initial place was packed, but it turned out to be much better.

100% consistently excelling in taste, quantity, price, friendliness and quality of food, drinks and service. And today, I get to try the green thai iced tea and sipped thru it in less than a minute coz it was super delicious and thirst quenching. They soon will have jasmin thai iced tea on top of all the wide array of milk tea and fruit tea beverages (rose lychee milk tea, smoothies and anything diy/customize to your liking drinks). Will definitely be a default bookmark in Shattuck food avenue!

THE spot in Berkeley for authentic Hawaiian. Portions are big, rice is heavenly. Kailua pig is excellent, as is spam musubi. Staff are lovely. Two thumbs up!!!
