This is your corner bagel shop and cafe.The decor is spare and the chairs are slightly worn and comfortable to sit in. Surrounded by windows, it’s a good place to sit and watch people and traffic. Royal Ground is my neighborhood coffee place. It's the perfect place to have a nice coffee or a pastry or sandwich, and people- watch thanks to the big picture windows facing Channing Way, and Shattuck Avenue. The proprietors are friendly and make great neighbors.They stuck it out through the pandemic, where a lot of other businesses gave up. My favorite drink there is the chai latte.
