I think the broth could be a little richer, but overall, there was plenty of meat and it was very satisfying. I know this dish is supposed to be light, but I believe the broth could be simmered longer to develop a more flavorful aroma.

Another point is that the fried dough sticks were quite tasty but could easily become overwhelming; if I tried it again, I would try the shrimp rice rolls instead.

The restaurant is easy to find, cool, and clean.

I caught the flu and had no energy to cook, with little appetite. I found this place had congees. I ordered the sliced pork, liver, and kidney congee, and it tasted really good. Even though I know they are known for their chang fen, the congee was delicious and comforting. It really helped me feel better. A great comfort food for recovery.

The rice roll was okay, but the noodle wasn't good because it was soggy, the dumplings weren't fresh, and the broth was bland.

The food was disgusting, the waitress was rude, they don’t even give you a plate to eat your dim sum in. I will never go back there again.

This is the newer location of Yin Ji Chang Fen. Chang fen or cheong fun is a steamed flat rice noodle which can have different kinds of filling. It’s simple and homey kind of food that’s often sold by street vendors all over Asia. The store also carries a small selection of dim-sum dishes.

Was craving traditional Chinese comfort food, so I stopped by for porridge and a rice noodle roll. Unfortunately, I left a bit disappointed. For the price, the portions felt small, and the quality didn’t really justify the cost. The photos on the menu made it seem like there’d be more meat, but what I got didn’t quite match up. Service was also a bit lackluster — nothing terrible, just not very attentive. Might not be in a rush to return.

The food is good and of authentic Chinese style.
The service is so so. The waiters sometimes forget your order and you need to remind them. They even serve desserts before the main dish.

Very solid Chinese food for the price. You will get a hearty portion without breaking the bank. Always a solid place to visit on a cold or rainy day.
