I think the broth could be a little richer, but overall, there was plenty of meat and it was very satisfying. I know this dish is supposed to be light, but I believe the broth could be simmered longer to develop a more flavorful aroma.

Another point is that the fried dough sticks were quite tasty but could easily become overwhelming; if I tried it again, I would try the shrimp rice rolls instead.

The restaurant is easy to find, cool, and clean.
I caught the flu and had no energy to cook, with little appetite. I found this place had congees. I ordered the sliced pork, liver, and kidney congee, and it tasted really good. Even though I know they are known for their chang fen, the congee was delicious and comforting. It really helped me feel better. A great comfort food for recovery.
This is the newer location of Yin Ji Chang Fen. Chang fen or cheong fun is a steamed flat rice noodle which can have different kinds of filling. It’s simple and homey kind of food that’s often sold by street vendors all over Asia. The store also carries a small selection of dim-sum dishes.
