The chefs and staff at Maude made my birthday dinner a beautiful bittersweet experience. I visited Maude monthly the year they opened in 2014 and specifically wanted to celebrate my birthday and my return to the restaurant on the night of their last service. Maude is a lovely 1 star Michelin experience in which Curtis stone pays tribute to his first mentor, his maternal grandmother. In a very intimate setting, Maude expresses a level of thoughtfulness that is rare in today's day and age like a love sonnet of honest expression.
