Not coming back, the wait time 1 hour 10 min. Food not good I got mole chilaquiles and they’re more like a tortilla soup. They only have 1 cook and the waitress making mistakes over and over making you wait more for the food. While I was waiting to be seated the waitress made like 5 mistakes plus the ones when I was waiting for my food. If there’s empty tables they’re not sitting you because they can’t catch up with the order because of the 1 cook. Worst $40 dlls wasted ever 😠

Labeled as authentic Mexican food but, my opinion is they should distinguish what region of Mexico the food is styled after. After ordering, we found out: Guadalajara. Their chorizo con huevos is not traditional Northern style. Instead, they mix the chorizo with the papa's & cheese, not the eggs. The menudo appears to be a different recipe as well. The food was good, just not how I like it prepared. I even requested the waiter to ensure I would get the chorizo con huevos mixed together but apparently that got lost in translation on the way to the kitchen

Hands down the most authentic food on the mountain. Not only that, but they have the best coffee, great flavor and not watered down. Lovely staff and atmosphere.

I ordered an omelette and a pancake on the side. The omelette was super fresh and they make the best pancakes ever! The staff is always quick and friendly and the chef even made extra pancake batter just for me after giving the last pancake to my friend. Great spot for breakfast!
The Menudo and Pollo Asada burrito were awesome. Great flavor, portions. And our waitress was on top of everything. Highly recommend 👌

This was my first time here. The waiter was friendly.
My food was not good at all, I ordered the mole chilaquiles with chicken since we were told they were the popular item on the menu. I was not really feeling my food, and I realized after why, I found a black hair scrambled into the eggs. It was nasty. It ruined my whole appetite, and I would not visit this place again.

WATCH OUT! Check your bill they overcharge! Not only on sales tax but also their math is wrong!
Great customer service and the chilaquiles are AMAZING, as well as French toast with added eggs and bacon. Will be back

A Hidden Gem in Big Bear – 10/10 Experience!
We visited El Rincon this morning and were truly impressed. The location is super convenient—right near all the local Big Bear spots—and from the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. The energy was great!
The young man at the counter was kind and professional, and the young lady assisting him was just as lovely. From placing our order over the phone to picking it up, the customer service was consistently warm and efficient. It’s always refreshing to experience genuine hospitality.
Now, let’s talk food—absolutely delicious.
My husband ordered the chilaquiles de mole with chorizo, and I chose mine with carne asada for some added protein. Both were full of flavor and made fresh to order. The frijoles fritos had the perfect touch of spice—just enough to elevate the dish without overpowering it. Our son enjoyed The Snow Platter, which came with eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and a pancake—it was classic, hearty, and done just right. We also shared Mama’s potatoes with chorizo, and they were packed with flavor and generously portioned.
Everything tasted homemade and carefully prepared. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in their food and presentation. The overall experience—from the atmosphere to the food and service—was truly enjoyable.
We’ll absolutely be returning the next time we’re in Big Bear. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fresh, flavorful food and great service!
Thanks again! 🙏🏼
