Lovely family owned and operated business. Great food, great prices, clean and pretty atmosphere. I go here quite often because on top of the yummy food I enjoy talking to the waitresses.

Accidently found this place, tried their Jakobe's scramble, didn't disappoint, flavors hit the mark!!! Will definitely be coming back, verify the hours b4 showing up...bon appetite...

Took my daughter when they first opened, the menu was more then I anticipated and reasonable prices when you see the quality of the food and it's presentations, this place clearly takes.pride.in what they do and it shows. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and have been back several times since. 10/10 recommend.

This place is average at best. Had a veggie omelette ($20) and it was decent, but definitely not great. Dropped off the food and disappeared, I was the only one there. You can't check on me? Asking me if everything is ok after I ask for the check is not how it goes.

We enjoyed an excellent meal here tonight, our first visit since Jakobe's opened about a year ago. The food was generous, and service was excellent, and the small interior dining room is very nicely arranged for a comfortable meal.
My wife had the Fajita meal (chicken) which was cooked and seasoned wonderfully - very flavorful, and delivered to the table on an extremely hot and sizzling skillet. The quantities were large and well seasoned with rice and refried beans - she took half of it home for lunch.
I ordered the New York Steak with cut rosemary potatoes and vegetables. The potatoes and veggies were incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked. The only slightly negative side to the meal was that the steak was not cooked as requested. I requested medium rare (the only way for a good NY steak, right?) and it came relatively lightly seared on the outside, but medium well on the inside. A little disappointing, although the flavor was still excellent. They kindly reduced our bill, which wasn't necessary but was appreciated.
In addition to the small dining room (pictured) there is a front deck area which is a little close to the busy boulevard, and a large rear patio area that is quiet and has a pleasant breeze - although the view / atmosphere could be improved with some nicer landscaping, etc.
Overall a very nice dining experience, and we look forward to trying some different meals soon.

Its a great place to dine however, the food is terrible. The french toasts were raw, pan cakes were full of strong flavor. Most of us were sick with Diarrhea after the breakfast at this place.

We went for dinner to this place because of my niece’s choice. But the next day at least three of us regretted because we got sick with diarrhea. But on top of it I found it overpriced almost like a fine dining and they are not. I would not go back even if I didn’t have to pay.

The best chicken salad croissant sandwich I’ve ever had! WOW!!

Best food we have had in Big Bear. Great friendly service. Ribeye cooked perfectly and veggies were outstanding. Very good bread. Will be back for breakfast.
