About El Rincon Restaurant

Based on the reviews, El Rincon Restaurant offers some of the most authentic food on the mountain. The location is super convenient, right near all the local Big Bear spots, with a nice view of the boulevard. The atmosphere is great, with fun music blaring, a cool English saddle on the wall, and a pretty basic decor. The staff is lovely, always quick and friendly, and the customer service is consistently warm and efficient.

The food is absolutely delicious and tastes homemade. The best coffee has great flavor and is not watered down. The chilaquiles de mole with chorizo and the carne asada were both full of flavor and made fresh to order. The frijoles fritos had the perfect touch of spice. The Snow Platter, with eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and a pancake, was classic and hearty. Mama’s potatoes with chorizo were packed with flavor. The omelette was super fresh and they make the best pancakes ever. The Carne en su jugo and tacos were fresh and delicious. The tortilla chips came with a warm bean dip, which was tasty but really spicy. The pico de gallo is excellent. However, the Verde salsa had no flavor and was a little gelatinous. The chicken enfrijoladas were OK, with thick tortillas and not much chicken inside. The beignets were overcooked and overly drenched in powdered sugar, and the restaurant should consider sopapillas instead.

I was born here in Big Bear.
let me tell you the food at this place is amazing. I'm impressed. everything that came out the window looked epic. The service is top notch. I'm definitely making this a place I go often.

Great, fresh and authentic Mexican food! Attentive, genuine service. The lemonade was delicious, the burritos were HUGE. I had carne asada chilequiles that could easily be shared, but I almost finished myself because I couldn't stop eating! Highly recommend, will be bringing others here for a great lunch!

Really the best Mexican breakfast I’ve ever had! Outdid my favorite in El Paso Tx! Everything was so fresh and delicious! Highly recommend the guacamole and the lemonade as well!
