Rosa’s Reviews
I’ve never met a chile relleno I didn’t like, and the ones at Rosa’s Mexican Food certainly did not disappoint! I ordered a chile relleno along with a deep-fried taco, and both made for a very satisfying meal.
The rice and beans deserve a special mention. Both were seasoned perfectly and were genuinely very good. They also start you off with complimentary chips and two types of salsa. Judging by what was left at the end of the meal, the red salsa was clearly the crowd...read full review

The service moved quickly, and the meal was excellent. I would suggest the Strawberry Margarita and the Fajitas. The live music was also a real crowd pleaser.
We visited Rosas Mexican Restaurant for the first time, and from the moment we stepped inside, we were met with warm smiles and friendly greetings from every staff member. It set the tone for a wonderful experience.
Our waiter, Christian, was exceptional — attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great meal. We ordered the molcajete, which was enormous and absolutely delicious. It came filled with nopales, melted cheese, jalapeños, chicken,...read full review

Rosa’s Mexican Food is a very good Mexican restaurant in Big Bear, offering flavorful food, attentive service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Guests have enjoyed the chile relleno, deep-fried taco, molcajete, ensenada tacos, veggie burrito, and garlic shrimp. The molcajete came filled with nopales, melted cheese, jalapeños, chicken, steak, and the option to add shrimp, plus rice, beans, and tortillas. The rice and beans were seasoned perfectly, and the complimentary chips and two types of salsa were a hit, with the red salsa clearly the crowd favorite. The Cadillac margarita, skinny margarita, sangria, and raspberry lemon drop were all excellent. Portions are huge, and the tortillas are incredible. Service is a highlight, with three different employees stopping by to make sure everything was right. Warm smiles and friendly greetings from every staff member set the tone. The restaurant is large, incredibly remodeled, great for large groups, and has an incredible bar, inviting atmosphere, and great prices. It is good for a light afternoon bite or a feast, with comfy seating and live music. More variety of cold non alcoholic drinks would be good. Rosa’s is definitely worth a visit.
