Skyline Taphouse

What a beautiful experience and restaurant! We took the scenic chair lift up for the live band and barbecue event and had a wonderful time! Absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains! All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The buffet with all the barbecue chicken, salmon, vegetables you name it and even some lovely moist carrot cake for dessert. We really enjoyed the band they had playing on the terrace. Absolutely perfect experience, I recommend!

This is a fun destination on a hot summer day. The ride up the ski lift was amazing with the clear mountain skies. And the food was all homemade. And it's hard to beat sitting outside on the deck looking out over God's creation.

Great burgers

This was a really great little hidden gem for us. We go to big bear a couple of times a year, And this ski chair ride up to the top of the mountain. Where they serve killer beer and cocktails. And some really good burgers and hot dogs. Like nice quality waygu burgers. And homemade kettle chips and other side dishes that are awesome. Even got some vegetarian options. I don't remember homeboy's name behind the bar who took our order. But he was awesome, made me his specialty Margarita, and it was over the top. The view from up there was amazing. You can get the chair lift. And lunch for 35 bucks way worth it. Nice area to hike or if you mountain bike, this is the Mecca.

Super busy, line took an hour and 30 minutes after to receive food. Half the party got the wrong order, but they corrected everything.
Food was very good, and good beer on tap.
Very nice staff, just understaffed for the quantity of people ordering.

I got the tri tip dip and my husband got the fish and chips both were delicious. They have a very unique menu. I'm interested in trying the Irish banger next time!

Good hot sandwich and potato wedges. Service was slow because they weren’t properly staffed. We also got jipped on fries.They didn’t have grab-and-go sandwiches ready by noon. The hand-carved sandwich was excellent, though. Worth the price.Bartender was very nice. So was the helpful woman at checkout.

We took the chair lift up to the top of the mountain, went for a nice hike and ordered drinks at the Skyline Taphouse. I highly recommend this for an enjoyable and relaxing day.
