Came on a Friday evening about 630pm. Was almost full house. Nice waitress gave us a corner table. The fish and chips were quite good. The tomato soup that came with the grilled cheese sandwich was amazing! One of the best I’ve ever tasted!
The main course (chicken pot pie) was fantastic. The pies and ice cream were great. The salad dressing was meh, tasted like bottled. The vibe was off. The music was too loud for me, I don't like noise. The wait staff wasn't very attentive. I'd go again for the food, but get soup instead of salad.
Without a doubt one of the best restaurants here in Big Bear Lake, especially if you are looking for some real down-to-earth home cooking. This restaurant has plenty of free parking right in front of the business. One key point to remember when visiting is that they only take cash, no credit cards accepted, but do not worry, they have an ATM located in the foyer of the business next to the restrooms.
