Our local tour guide recommended this as a favorite eatery, so we had to try it on our last day in Big Bear. We arrived just as it opened, and I'm glad we did because a line formed fast! We were in and out in 45 minutes, but there are signs that let you know to expect up to a 45 min wait for your food during busy times. Okay, our 5th attempt was successful :) The 1st attempt was during a power outage followed by the place being so busy we couldn't find parking. Today we were able to park and find tables both inside and out. We placed our order and headed for a table but, with so many flies inside, we opted to head outside and weren't bothered. We were seated outside. Server took our order promptly and someone else checked on us shortly thereafter to make sure we had been helped. Everything was great until we tried to pay. Handed off our credit card then waited quite awhile until someone else came out and handed it to a different table. Had to chase it down.
