There’s no place better to go after a long week of hiking the sierras than Jacks! Absolute craving satisfaction!

Rustic old school restaurant/diner. They sell fresh made pies and muffins. Great spot for breakfast.

Menu and waitress claimed their chicken fried steak breakfast was legendary.....legendary-ily horrible. Meat tasted nasty. My wife tasted it and refused to try another bite. I left 75% of the dish and paid the full price. Waitress came around after the table was cleared to ask if everything was good....too late to get any kind of deduction off the bill. Asked for basted eggs....nope. Runny whites...gag. Online menu prices WAAAYYY outta date. $9.99 breakfasts actually were $16-$20. Eggs Benedict were marginal (overbearing lemon tasting) but edible. We think Jack's is horrible.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way from Mammoth Lakes. We got the Corned Beef Hash and it was outstanding! I highly recommend the place and that dish.

Best fish and chips I've ever had, and i lived in Maui. They look more like a giant chicken tender; thin and light. No heavy breading. Surprised me! Fish was flakey and fresh, as was the tarter sauce. The fries never got soggy. Yum yum.

Been going to Jack’s for years. It’s a must-do stop for breakfast. Used to be called Jack’s Waffle Shop. The service is exceptional, they don’t leave you hanging, even during the tourist season rush. Food is classic diner breakfast with good portions. If parking is full, as is common, park across the street at the Whiskey Creek, old Bank of America lot.

We enjoy eating at Jack's. They offer a half order which is perfect for a light lunch when traveling. Thank you.
