10am Saturday morning, looking for breakfast.
The place looked interesting but no menu near the door - found a seat and a waiter brought me water and a menu. Two other tables arrived a minute or so before me - the waiter brought them water and took their orders. He then took mine.
I watched these other two tables (total 6 people) order / receive and eat their food/ pay their bill and leave and I’m still sitting there with just a water.
After waiting 15 minutes I inquire about my food - a new waitress apologizes and says than “they’ve just had a party of 11”.
Another 10 minutes pass and I’m getting hangry by this time - I stand up and ask a random wait staff about my food - it then appears.
Pancakes are ok - two pieces of very small overcooked bacon, ok eggs and what appears to be a two day old slice of orange? No coffee or toast is included.
The waitress is very apologetic and even gives me a 20 discount.
To the management of Whisky’s - if a party of 11 overwhelms your kitchen then you don’t have enough staff - sort it out - it’s what you get paid for. If I want a shitty breakfast experience then I’ll go to Dennys - however at this point Dennys has you beat fair and square.
Waitress was super nice very sweet.Loved the omelette I had.very nice place to relax ♥️ highly recommend
Went to Whiskey Creek restaurant. Looked a little snazzy and thought my husband and I could have an early anniversary dinner. We were seated in the back portion of the bar area promptly. At first we perused the menus selecting what we wanted to eat and drink. I then closed the menu and attempted to make eye contact with any staff members. We sat for over 20 minutes and we were never approached. Husband and I decided to leave. Place is too expensive for us to be ignored.

Zero out of three of us enjoyed our meals. Teriyaki Chicken was dry, under sauced, and the Diet Coke was flat their quality control was poor.
I came from out of town for a work trip and honestly this restaurant was one of the highlights of my trip. I was not expecting the most amazing experience and food I’ve ever had. Between two nights and at least a dozen coworkers- we sampled several different dishes, appetizers and desserts. Honestly this food was OUT OF THIS WORLD- not a single complaint. I’m going to miss not having this at home!
Great atmosphere and food. I had the prime rib tonight, it’s only available Friday Saturday and Sunday. It was very good. I sat in the bar area and the service was excellent. I started off with the bacon wrapped shrimp, it was delicious as well. Whenever I’m in town I come to Whiskey Creek. I’ll continue to come.
Tommy and the bar staff were great! Fantastic food and prompt service. Highly recommend
Absolutely delicious, i visited lots of steakhouses throughout California and L.A, being a local. These guys at whiskey creek know what they are doing! Servers could be a touch more friendly. Like replying to my hello… instead of just what you want..
If you want a beautiful evening in Bishop with some fine dining great music and service look no further than whiskey creek. The steaks are very nice weather very nice wine selection
It was great. The waiter was awesome 👌, it was a little pricey but it was good and we had fun.

What on earth?! They messed up EVERY part of our order. Brought us the wrong appetizer, took forever and multiple reminders to bring the correct one. When the food came, every persons order had a problem. One soup was forgotten, a spice level was wrong, and a fried rice was brought instead of a curry. When we told them about the curry, they brought the curry later… but with the wrong protein. Who is running this place?
Oh yeah. And a dog was screaming somewhere the whole time.
This place is awesome! The guys at the bar were so fun! Unusual place to find a yummy Panang curry, but this place has a great one, so fresh and the guy playing music rocked 🎄🎅🏻♥️
Got my cheeseburger on! Yum...
We used to come here all the time when I was a kid. It used to be a classy steakhouse, where we enjoyed a nice meal whenever we met friends or family in Bishop. But the quality of the restaurant has noticeably slipped. Inside felt like a depressing, desolate memory of the Whiskey Creek of the past, which had more of a sports bar vibe, now.
The service was at least personable and quick.
I got a Whiskey Wedge that was just absurd in volume. It was a gigantic portion of iceberg (larger than normal/I was able to finish) that was drowned in dressing. The taste of the salad was also odd, which felt like the result of too many or mismatching flavors, between all the dressing, the port glaze, and the candied walnuts. The price was fine, for what it was.
Worst food I have ever had for Thanksgiving. Everything was frozen. Still frozen when brought to the table. The bus boy/ runner was excellent though
