“My husband and I went in for coffee earlier today. Coffee was great, atmosphere was fun, and we split a superb chocolate chip cookie. My biggest regret was that we got there super close to closing and didn’t get to sit at a table and chat, but we’ll be going back so I’ll get my chance. “Haven't been to Berdu in forever. Had to take care of some stuff and the kids wanted pizza. The old place I used to go to was non-existent so googled pizza near me and this little gem showed up. It's easy to miss. Tiny little place in the corner across from DJ's and Stater bros. Pizza is made fresh to order. Not really a dine in joint, but the girl was nice and friendly. Heard they've opened a second place at or near the college. Good pizza. Decent prices. If we're back in the area and want pizza we'll probably go back. $12 lunch special sm 1 topping pizza and a drink. They don't have plates or to go cups so if you're planning on a pizza picnic bring your own. Otherwise just eat straight from the box, that's what we did. Pizza, pasta, sandwiches, calzone and Zamboni. We just got the lunch deal and a medium specialty and a 2ltr of coke.“

“Although the market, it does not have the inventory of a grocery store but rather a market, has really basically turned into a market that carries a lot of Latino foods, they have a decent produce area. They have a butcher and their meat selection is okay. If you are in the mood and want Mexican food that is fresh and hot, visit the cocina. I especially like that they make tortillas fresh on site. I never buy pre-packaged tortillas any more. I rate them a four because of the lack of more varieties of certain foods and at times the cashiers can be rather rude. I've noted that the attitude is aimed at their non Latino customers.“

“We were promptly seated upon our arrival. We were hoping to see the Dodgers on their TV which was missing the remote. Staff did an admirable job trying to get the game on the TV using the manual buttons but could not get the station. All 4 of us were given glasses of water, but the server handled glasses from the top placing her fingers on the brim which is quite unsanitary. As a result, we drank our water using straws. Early on we ordered a side of guacamole which seemed to have been forgotten. We reminded our server again when our food arrived. The food was good. The tamale was hard, but overall, all the food was tasty. I would return again, but please don't handle the drink glasses where people put their mouths. Yuk!“
