The Logger Bar provided a truly authentic local experience, with a lively atmosphere that immediately captured the essence of the community. This is easily the best bar in Blue Lake/Arcata/Mckinleyville area. The atmosphere is phenomenal and the staff are even more so. It reminds me of the bars back in Wallingford, Oxfordshire (UK). A place to go for a drink and chat after work. Located in the center of the Universe, the Logger bar has been serving libations for longer than any of the locals can remember. Truely a slice of Humboldt history not to be missed. With the new owner the place has a friendlier vibe and cleaner too with the addition of a outside seating area in the front for those all so often sunny blue lake days. Don't miss the music as it is one of a kind.
