“This place serves 85 years of proven deliciousness. It is simple. It is hearty. These days, it is even out of the ordinary. Just go. You will be glad that you did. If you are like me, you’ll remember how Mom would heat the oven to 450 degrees and place the block of ice Hungry Man pot pie in the oven for one hour till it transformed into a cauldron of molten lava. My mother would even crack open the hood of the pie and load it with an extra cup of frozen peas and carrots that would cook to perfection in the heavenly inferno of scrumptious delight, which made me the muscular hunk of love that I am today. The San Diego Chicken Pie Shop serves up a pie that is an even better recipe than the one in my memories of my dear Mom. If your are nearby, give it a try.“

“I love crack shack. I was born n raised in San Diego but moved to Memphis where I learned what good fried chicken is. This is the fried chicken spot in Southern California. Fire nugs+fries+pickles you can not go wrong. The bar tender is really awesome and the food is seasoned perfectly. Really good desserts as well.“

“The clerk was a nice guy but not keen on the obvious. I ordered a 15 piece wing combo and he asked if that was for here or to go. Who would dine in and eat 15 wings by himself? Chuckled all the way home. Poor guy.“

“Drive thru for the famous chicken sandwich. Long wait, excellent sandwich. Lots of crunch and good flavors, but not salty. And the pickles, whoa. Finally got my chicken sandwich after 2 weeks of trying. Long lines that backed up into streets, even freeways, getting there hours too early. That’s a great sandwich.“

“lately always been getting the 12 Piece Original Recipe with sides. order via KFC app and pickup via drive-thru. about $36 but really like $40 with tax. would otherwise get $20 eight-piece bucket refill but always need more chicken because more people come to the house! Yum!“

“For some reason or another, the last three times I was there they have yet to put any of the sauces that I paid for in the bag.
Super frustrating!
Next time I go back, I will hold up the entire line just to make sure they put what I ordered in the bag.

“It's late, I'm starving and it's the hottest day in san diego county. So I decided to stop at kfc in rancho san diego. I feel stupid using coupons for food these days but everything is so expensive. The service I received from cashier Ale and Brinay was so heart felt! She made me feel like the coupons were not as humiliating as I felt using. She was absolutely amazing. I ended up buying more food than I needed but in reality I felt more confidence spenind on food with such great service. I will definately return especially to this location just because of human instant and kindness. What a relief it is to see some people still care to just listen. Absolutely amazing, and I don't usually write reviews.“

“I like to go shopping at this place, the chicken and biscuits are very delicious, but the cabbage salad is terrible, and also before they gave you the biscuits in a box and now they give them to you in a bag and if they are hot they arrive in disarray.
But something I didn't like was a man who was getting paid with long, very ugly nails, it made me sick, they should demand that those who work with food not have such long false nails.“

“Nice quiet kfc fastfood in Bonita. The service is fast, place is clean, and staffs are somewhat friendly. I ordered what used to be a $5 fillup is now almost $6, still reasonable for two pieces of chicken, side, biscuit, chocolate chip cookie, and a regular drink. Some of the benches need to be replaced, but overall, very comfortable with the dining environment. Hidden away in a non busy area of bonita.“
