“There aren't too many Long John Silver restaurants around. I found this gem in the city of San Marcos. This one is partnered with KFC. I went inside to place an order. I was greeted by the employee who took my order. I ordered the 8 piece bucket of chicken for $10.00 and 2 catfish. The young lady was very nice to make my food fresh with all the condiments I requested. I don't remember her name, but she was very nice and customer friendly. I will definitely return again at this location. Keep up the great ? work.“

“Amazing food!!! We got a few things on the menu today. We got the firebird , cali dip , kids meal chicken nuggets . Let’s start with the firebird .. amazing sweet and spicy taste with big nice pickles to maintain the heat overall recommend this sandwich . The Cali Dip was delicious sweet and so much flavor I’d have to say one of the best “Tortas” I ever ate . The fries are the best !!! Sauces are so yummy. Everything was about $47 but SO WORTH IT!“

“First time checking out this location, and it is a massive upgrade compared to the Mira Mesa spot! The place is super bright, modern, and has a huge dining area with plenty of seating. They also have self-ordering kiosks, which makes things really quick.

A special shoutout to Emiliano for the fantastic service—we were greeted the second we walked through the door. While we were there, he was super patient helping another customer who had never been to a Dave’s before, even recommending meals based on how hungry they were.

On top of that, the location is super convenient right off the freeway, and parking in the shopping center was a breeze. Definitely coming back to this location from now on!“

“It was my first time here and I was greeted with exceptional hospitality by the man training his new employees who looked eager to learn. The food smells incredible and the restaurant was very clean and vibrant. FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE, I got the medium spicy slider and my girlfriend got the Mac and cheese slider. “There’s two KFC locations that I go to and this is one of them. It’s completely located across from foods where I sometimes go shop. I’ve been inside the store through the drive-through and no matter which way I go. I always get excellent customer service, quick service, hot food, and everything about the place is clean. You can tell a lot about a place by how they keep their bathrooms, and the bathroom were clean. So I highly recommend this location for good food. Good servers from good people.“

“When I went to pick up my online order, there was no one at the order counter. I waited a few minutes and a lady appeared but did not look at me or acknowledge I was there but just started to
bag up some orders. She also looked unhappy to be there even though there were only 2 other customers waiting for their orders. She finally called the others when their orders were ready, but did not acknowledge that I was still there waiting (a good 5-7 minutes by then). Finally another employee came to me and apologized for my wait. He was friendly and helpful and handed me my order. He was worth coming back for, and she was not!“

“When t in a little late today 07/16/2026 was told I would have to wait 15 to 20 mins for my order I know some people would complain but I am actually thankful got hit fresh chicken and sides great tasting i really appreciate the customer service i have been in the restaurant business and I know near closing times one hopes to get out by the time the store is scheduled to close shout out to the employees tonight i will definitely be coming back this is my spot now“

“This store is always clean inside and out. The drive-thru moves along quickly. The employees are generally friendly and helpful, but I have observed that they are usually short one or two staff members, in order to provide great customer service.
However, I understand that business levels are down everywhere, and this is simply a wave for the store to minimize labor costs. Having said that, the employees are hardworking and get the job done, nonetheless.
Only four stars for food because it's still fast food. So while it's not healthy, it delivers on its promise.“
