“My girlfriend and I were visiting for a wedding and stopped in for a snack before the ceremony. The food was amazing, iced coffee had the perfect blend and we had the croissant sandwiches and they were perfect. If you’re visiting and need someone to go for breakfast or just a snack, I’d recommend this place 11/10 times.“

“Hill Street Donut House is officially a gem. The young couple that works there is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can feel the care they put into everything the moment you walk in. The fresh orange juice is unreal — bright, refreshing, and clearly squeezed fresh. And the sandwiches? Absolutely to die for. I ordered the B9 ham, bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich and loved it!

It’s rare to find a place that nails great food and great vibes, but Hill Street Donut House does both effortlessly. So happy to see this spot thriving — I’ll definitely be back again and again!!!!“

“First time coming into this place after living in Oceanside for 4 years…AMAZING DONUTS! Best apple fritter to ever grace my mouth. Buttermilk donuts were a close 2nd. Got old-fashioned maple and chocolate and others too…HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all your donut cravings and needs. Don’t want this sugar rush to end, but when it does I’ll be back for more. “Such a hidden gem! We've passed Danish & Donuts several times and decided to stop in today after reading the great reviews. Others have shared how stellar the customer service is, and we couldn’t agree more. Sophia instantly made us feel at home and had us smiling and laughing with her the entire time we were there. She let us know their family owned business has been in the community for 40+ years and after trying the donuts it's obvious why. All of the donuts were super fresh, extremely fluffy, and so tasty, while the case and the rest of the shop was well maintained and clean...it's obvious a great amount of heart and care goes into their operation. We chose a variety of apple fritters, donut holes, old fashions, custard-filled, glazed, chocolate, maple, and a cinnamon crunch, cinnamon roll, and sugar twist donut along with a breakfast sandwich. Talk about choices!

I mentioned to Sophia that I had a certain allergy and she immediately offered to special make a modified breakfast option for me without hesitation. We'll definitely be regulars moving forward - support local!“

They always have the freshest of donuts and other pastries.

You are greeted by the friendly owner and family.
They have a well stocked fridge with everything from chocolate milk to Monster energy drinks

They are located next to the 7/11
It is a convenient pitstop for snacks or hearty jalapeno ham & cheese croissant. Close to the Inland Rail Trail for the cyclists among us.

They prefer payment with cash but card payment is accepted with a small fee.

“Google searched for a donut shop that was close to the car wash that I frequent prior to going to work on a Saturday morning so I can bring a dozen donuts to share with my coworkers. Mr. Donuts is a donut that I would usually go to that sell just regular donuts (glazed, chocolate, maple, etc...) and not these newer shops that make these "fancy" concoctions like, donuts mixed with some type of breakfast or some other mixed flavored type of donut. So, I just got a mix of maple bars, glazed twists, old-fashioned glazed, sugar, etc...and everything tasted great and fresh. My coworkers and I enjoyed the donuts from here and even one of them said that they've had donuts from Mr. Donuts and her and her family always get donuts from there. So, I do recommend this donut shop. The gentleman, who possibly could've been the owner/donut maker, that helped was very nice and courteous. I'll get his name the next time I go there. I did notice that they sell breakfast types of sandwiches and saw a couple of people walking out with them so I will have to try one next time as well. A great local donut shop that you should go to and try.“

“This place right down the street from my home. I have been going here for years now & will continue to do so. Everyone is very friendly & the donuts are delicious. Yesterday my husband and I stopped by at noon to pick up 3 dozens of donuts to take to our cousins viewing in Tj. We told this to the lady helping us, then she said "wait, let me give you something!" “I love coming to this donut café. This is a great place to bring your family, your friends or just passing El Camino Real, the donuts are made in house. They are fresh fluffy, and they use high-quality ingredients. The owner and her family are so friendly, kind and funny. this donut café is tucked into a strip mall off of Stater Bros. The filling in the donuts are always on point compared to the corporate chains. A perfect amount of custard/ icing! The apple fritter is best in show!!“

“I recently tried the iced blueberry coffee at Dunkin’ and I have to say, it’s fantastic! The flavor is smooth and refreshing with just the right balance of blueberry and coffee—it’s unique without being overpowering. It has quickly become one of my favorite drinks, especially on a warm day.

What I love most is that it’s not too sweet, so you can really enjoy the coffee flavor with that subtle fruity twist. The drink is always consistent and really hits the spot when I need a pick-me-up. The staff was friendly and quick with my order, which made the whole experience even better.

If you’re looking to try something a little different than the usual coffee flavors, I definitely recommend giving the iced blueberry coffee a shot. Dunkin’ really got this one right!“
