Just returned to get dinner and Sherill gave us a warm welcome after not seeing us for 3 months.The burgers and fries are first class in an Old West atmosphere. A must stop when you're Borrego Springs.
So now there's a tablet where you have to put your own order in yourself and pay, and then you wait for a long time so someone can put coffee in a cup for you. It's pretty efficient for the owners, I guess. Extremely minimal experience for the customer, though. No espresso drinks anymore, just iced or hot coffee. Totally rocking bathroom, 10/10.
After a long day hiking, we were looking for something kind of casual. Didn’t realize that the restaurant was part of a resort, but that was fine. I got a double mushroom Swiss burger, my son got the kids burger and my wife another type of burger plus we also got one of the salads, can’t remember which one it was, but the bottom line is that the food was surprisingly good. Fresh, our salad was very satisfying, and the fries were absolutely amazing. The best part were the shakes...
