North Italia Reviews
Server was very friendly and food was good... portionwise not a place for you if you believe bringing leftover home is good portion... noise level is ok if you are small group of 4 or less but more than that conversation can be a bit difficult.. making reservations is highly recommended if not mandated especially toward later time of night.. and parking is a bit challenging because you share a vert small parking lot and big parking structure with brea mall and everything around...read full review
Brand new North Italia location! Excellent service.
This meal delivered an outstanding modern Italian dining experience from start to finish. We started with the house bread, served warm in a stainless skillet with a mountain of shaved parmesan and an airy, herb-flecked whipped ricotta that was simply irresistible. The handcrafted cocktail topped with a fresh orchid made for a bright, refreshing pairing.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and it definitely lived up to what she had to say about it!
Italian is one of my favorite cuisines, and I was not let down. The food was delicious - so fresh and flavorful, nothing was overly heavy or lacking. We tried a couple of their spritzers, the Hugo and the Grapefruit G&T; both were great. We started with the Heirloom Tomato & Burrata, and wow, it was the best I’ve ever had. Then we had the Giardino Stromboli and the...read full review

North Italia is a new restaurant that offers an outstanding modern Italian dining experience. The food is delicious, fresh, and flavorful, with nothing overly heavy or lacking. The house bread is served warm in a stainless skillet with a mountain of shaved parmesan and an airy, herb-flecked whipped ricotta. The wood-fired pizza features a wonderfully blistered, airy crust, and the pasta is perfectly chewy with a rich, velvety mushroom cream sauce. The Margarita pizza is good. The Heirloom Tomato & Burrata, Giardino Stromboli, and Braised Short Rib Lumache are thoroughly enjoyed, and the goat cheese salad with chicken, the pizzas, and fried zucchini chips with pesto sauce are favorites. The handcrafted cocktail topped with a fresh orchid is bright and refreshing, and the Hugo and Grapefruit G&T spritzers are great. Service is excellent and friendly, though the front desk service is bad. The noise level is ok for a small group of 4 or less, but conversation can be a bit difficult for more than that. Reservations are highly recommended, especially toward later times. Parking is a bit challenging. Portionwise, it is not a place for bringing leftover home.
