Wonderful, perfect place when you get off the freeway and trying some hunger fix with a kick'

The food is great when visiting the restaurant. It's a different experience on different days depending on who's doing the cooking. The steaks can be a bit overcooked at times, which is a downside. Portions are good and the price is comparable to other steakhouses. Take out and delivery can use some improvement: They are constantly forgetting items even though it's on the order, sometimes requested in large letters. The containers for sauces, etc. are so tiny. One tiny container of sour cream for 6 loaded potato skins is insufficient! A time or two the food has been delivered almost cold. It's a hit or miss. Mgmt needs to oversee those orders! I'd advise to dine in person.

I visited Black Angus Steakhouse in Brentwood, CA on Monday, 3/18/24, around 8 PM for dinner. For the appetizer, I was able to try the Garlic-Chili Chicken Tenders. The tenders were crispy and the sauce had a lot of flavor. They tasted great with a side of ranch. For the entrée, I ordered the 12 oz prime rib dinner with steak soup and a side of Mac & Cheese. The prime rib was a tad salty but still good to consume. The steak soup was wonderfully delicious. The Mac & Cheese was decently fine. The complimentary bread and butter was a nice addition to the entire meal. The customer service could use some improvement. Upon arrival, I waited almost 10 minutes to be greeted by the hostess. At the table, the server was nice. However, attentiveness was slightly lacking throughout the entire dining experience. After considering everything, this Black Angus Steakhouse location gets a solid three stars.

As one who eats out a lot, and must say that it's very hard to find waiters or waitresses who take the time to work with the customer and provide excellent service. I would be remiss if I did not express how wonderful and great Danny our waiter at Black Angus in Brentwood California was tonight. He was very cordial very willing to accommodate urge menu to our needs, and just overall a very personal and professional attitude, which is very hard to find nowadays in the restaurants service business. For any future visits to this black Angus, we will be definitely asking for Danny's tables. He is a superb waiter with the correct attitude and professionalism. Thank you Danny.

Came in with my fiancé for a spontaneous date night dinner on March 3rd. Food was excellent. Drinks were served swiftly. Our waiter Danny treated us very well. He was very polite and made sure we were happy. Hope to eat here again soon.

Always wanted to come into Black Angus as we usually drive by going to BJ's. We went in. I had a couple of vodka martinis, and my partner she had a blue moon beers, drinks were really good and the service was excellent. For appetizers we got the chicken tenders which were really good. They were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Definitely recommend. For the main dishes I had a good old cheeseburger which hit the spot and my partner she had a rib eye, which was perfectly (I had a little bite was delicious) with a side of asparagus and a Caesar salad. Service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

Very much not my favorite steakhouse, but as my husband says, "it'll make a turd" love the brown bread and the white Zinfandel as it reminds me of the mid 1990s when I thought it was a good wine. The staff are great and the restaurant could be remodeled.

Hmmm.... I'm not big on steak so I ordered the grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce, which I'm glad the nice waitress suggested. But the chicken hmmm idk something was off about it lol but over all the food was decent. Hmmm gave us dirty dishes. But if you're looking for a family oriented restaurant, this is it. Although I don't recommend a booth that's facing everyone because people don't know how to focus on their own table. But over all nice customer service.

ETA: *I sent my information over through email, that Mark S. requested in a reply to my review here. It has been over a week, with no response. Shame.* My husband and I came here on a Sunday shortly after they opened at 12:00pm... The restaurant wasn't busy at all, and we were greeted/seated right away. I ordered an 8oz top sirloin steak (medium well) with 2 premium sides: (upcharge $2.50) Brussels sprouts and a "loaded" baked potato. Steak was great! 8/10. Brussels sprouts lacked seasoning and was drenched in oil or butter unfortunately. 5/10-1 seasoned heavily with salt + pepper from the table, but geez it was bad... the loaded baked potato was dry, old and wasn't loaded with anything at all really. Super disappointing. 3/10. I asked for a sweet tea- which they don't have, but they did have a mango raspberry sweet tea or dragon fruit sweet tea. I picked the mango raspberry. Idk what I got-but it was definitely not in any way shape or form a tea- it tasted more like juice. 6.5/10. My husband ordered the bbq chicken and ribs with garlic mashed potatoes, French fries, and crispy shrimp. The chicken was dry and lacked a lot of flavor- he rates it a 3.5/10. The ribs were basic, nothing special at all. A solia 6/10. The crispy shrimp came out of the kitchen super late, almost as we were done eating our entrees. 3/10. The shrimp was piping hot, but gross.. not at all what we'd expect from a "steak house". The garlic mashed potatoes were SO DAMN DRY! I mean you could stick your fork inside and pick up the whole serving as if it was a baked potato without skin. So disappointing- I had to write a little note on the receipt. My husband got a strawberry lemonade and for the first time in the 15 years we've been together, he didn't bother asking for a refill. 5/10. The waitress was ok, nothing bad/nothing extraordinary. Needless to say, we won't be back again.. I'm surprised at the quality of food, especially since this restaurant is considered a steakhouse in Brentwood. I'm also not too fond of the ambiance/vibe.. everything is dimly lit and I'd personally prefer more natural light. Our bill was around $93. I did not tip. We did however bus our own table- meaning everything was wiped down and stacked/ready to go. There were other folks dining there and I overheard them complaining to their waiter about the food. The young man apologized and offered something, but the woman declined. I think they need to take another look at their menu/kitchen and fix some things.

Had to leave a review of course about our server "CONNER", this dude was AMAZING!!!! Always on top of what we wanted and was always ahead of the game. Will be requesting "CONNER", every time we visit. Our server was the Superman of servers. He will be our go to if he sticks around. I'd hire him at my job in a heartbeat. Truly made our random date night into an amazing Friday night. Thank you "CONNER", I'm sure I spelt your name wrong.... Sorry, but you made our night! Hope you're there when we come back. BEST EXPERIENCE IN A WHILE!!!!!!!! Erron Jacobs
