This is regarding the safety of the place and one specific girl at the bar. Security is supposed to check everyone for weapons of any kind, that includes any other items that you believe it can use as a weapon. I noticed a large group of guys walking in with their spurs and two of them literally wearing something that looks like a knife on the side of the boot, no mention of the fact that the same group they were sniffing in the bathrooms, I noticed the security was there but didn't do anything. Later on the same group were in and out of the club several times through the back door without being screened by security for possible weapons.
On the other hand there was this couple drinking heavily with 2 kids until midnight on Saturday 29th. The dad was super drunk and could barely walk and the lady was drunk too but she was ok.
Is this even legal??
Regarding the girl at the bar, we were making a line to order drinks and this incompetent girl was not respecting the line so she almost caused a fight between the customers. One of the guys didn't tip her and she got super mad and laughed at him and he said
" You don't deserve it, you almost got me into a fight".
I don't know what happened with this place, I have been here a lot of times before, I don't know if they have a new owner and I won't be surprised if they get shutdown😔. The place is nice and that will be a great waste.

Enjoyed the band. Nachos were good and reasonably priced. Thankful we got there early enough to get a high top with seats. Otherwise, we would have been standing all night.

Great venue spot! Always a safe place to enjoy the events they throw. Staff and Sucurity are kind. If you have never been here I'd recommend stopping by!
You have to pay to get in the door if you want to dance $10 (doesn't include drink or food purchase or coupon) like whiskey tango foxtrot does, that just covers DJ , no live music 🎶, and dance lessons. If you are not dancing you don't pay at the door 🧐 FREE. Only serves beer and wine, NO cocktails. Some of the dance teachers take a whole hour for teaching and they talk a lot. Instead of just playing the songs we want to dance too and paid $10 for dancing not talking, teach the dances faster like Jamie and her daughter (they are the BEST dance teachers) direct fast to the point and we get moving. Jamie is so worth it when she's teaching.

I Love our Wednesday Bartender she treats us like family! Thank you C for making this place a joy, always having a good attitude and a smile. We totally enjoy our line dancing night. Love both instructors!

This is that real odd ball place. So the plus first. They have the sweetest, prettiest bar tender in Brentwood hands down. And that's about it. The owner is always there and he's well. Then you never know on a Friday if there's a band, if there is you can't get in unless you pay for the concert. Been there middle of the week, 3pm is not open, only serve beer and wine. Lots of the beer is funky in the selection. Sundays is filled with raider fans. Honestly, it feels like the owners private hangout. The stage was better in the old location, not when you walk in the front door, on top of a taqueria. It's got tons of potential, and little parking. A few management changes could really make a difference, but I'm pretty sure until owners change, nothing else will.

We love the Brentwood Emporium, but this 1 star is for the terrible grouchy bartender that works Wednesday night line dancing. She has said to the patrons how much she hates line dancing night and when you ask for ice in your water she refuses to get you ice. She is always in a terrible mood and you can tell she hates her job. Can we please have a different bartender Wednesday nights?
