Australian Lobster & Filet or with Shrimp. By far the BEST steak house in Brentwood. Better than most places in the area for its fine dining and excellent customer service. Family & Kid friendly. Highly recommended to give this place a try not just once but weekly it’s that good!

My claim chowder soup was cold. They didn't seem to care. Had to ask for more butter for bread.
Their food is delicious. I had the catch of the day. So good. Great service and warm, inviting atmosphere.
Great food and service 👌
Very tasty
Very nice local place!
I LOVE this place... its my favorite place to enjoy a delicious meal, a fine glass of wine and lovely atmosphere. The food never fails to deliver... So flavorful!! The wait staff is incredible! Thank you Caps for a wonderful Mothers day dinner ❤️
Don't get me wrong. The hosts are always pleasant and the male host especially is always a pleasure to talk to, and the bussers and cooks and the food specials are even more on point than before..but something is a miss in floor management....that would allow for one very unpleasant server..thus a slightly stressful experience ..cuz u need ur server.....when it happens..nice people will laugh, but when ya get stuck with someone who appears over it, almost every time.u Dine there....you stop choosing to go there..
noone seems to be in charge going around making sure everything is ok. ..and just a little bit more quality control could do wonders...even with a grumpy server...
90 percent of my food is great. A friend's chicken was so dry it looked it and we rather someone said u know what, we r out of chicken instead of serve a dried out piece.
Drinks are great. I love the tables and Italian atmosphere..but the grumpiness of the grumliest person in the room takes over sometimes.
I wonder how the bussers feel about having such grumps when it affects their tips too.

We came here to try out the calzones and they were the worst calzones I’ve tried, they are huge and because of that the dough was raw in some areas. The toppings inside were cold and the cheese wasn’t melted all the way :( do not recommend!
Pricey but so is every other restaurant

My wife helped open this place back in 1992. Visited this place tonight after she left in 1995. We met Jimmy tonight and it was a great flashback to the past. They both knew so many people from that time. What a great experience.

Very nice place to relax and it’s in a great area of down town, the staff was amazing and very nice and on it. The food though awww, not so much. We and my wife and never been and we both ordered steaks, I had the prime rib she had the New York, my prime rib had little if any flavor and was over cooked. It’s usually very soft and moist and when you order medium it’s still very pink, mine was dark and tough and had no flavor. My wife’s New York she said had zero flavor, like they had not added any seasoning. Not sure how the other food is but if you’re going for steak this is probably not the place. Just a heads up for people who love steak.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. If you are a person of color or a Mexican like myself, you are not welcome here and you will get discriminated on what you are wearing. My dad and I are in Brentwood for work. He owns his own business and we wanted to have some lunch as we were walking in the restaurant an old man was right outside and asked my dad and I “ what did we want?” We replied “to eat.” he then proceeded to tell us “we are not open yet, and if you are looking for work, we don’t have any because there’s a lot of people like you guys that come in asking for work.” I was honestly taken a back because we had just said we wanted to eat and the open sign said open and the restaurant door was open as well.
Capps Oak Street bar and Grill. If you guys want to have a dress code in place, something should be displayed so your customers could know. Just remember you are a bar and grill. You are not a Ruth Chris or a Carbone, hell you’re not even an Olive Garden or an old spaghetti factory. You are a hole in the wall with overpriced mediocre bar food with A racist employee and nasty hospitality… he might have even been the owner which makes it worse. This is how you guys run your restaurant?
Do better.

Place looks nice as we walk in. Host is nice. But it took 10 mins before the menu was given to us. Then another 20 mins for the server to come to take orders. Almost walkout but we didnt. We got our food finally! The BLT does not have mayo, not a big deal. Here comes the worse part, the lasagna that my daughter had was cold! She cut it in half it was still "frozen" inside. That being said, it was one of theis lunch special.
My daughter wanted to tell the server but the server didnt come to even check uf all is good. So my daughter just got up to the chef and return it saying it was cold.
Totally, bad service. Server looks like shes just waiting to end her shift. So she doesnt care cause the tip was added already on the bill.
Wont be back to this place!
