Located next to Creasian, Dumpling Hours is a good fix for those with a dumpling craving while wanting other dining options besides dumplings. Plenty of parking (spaces are a bit tight). In addition to dumplings and other traditional Taiwan style favorites, Dumpling Hours have other dining options. The Beef soup was decent and but their dumplings, Chicken Wings, and Brussel Sprouts are must try.The ordering is different. Their preferred method is to scan the QR code on the table to place your order and the waitstaff will bring your food (quick service). Getting their attention to bring you drinks can be challenging. Dumpling Hours feels like an informal restaurant, almost like a cafeteria with standard chairs, tables and crows, but it gets the job done!

The dumplings are delicious, so flavorful and fresh. Everything is made to order, including the dumpling wrapping! What a gem in the Brentwood area, I hope it sticks around.

Walked in and it smelled like rotten meat so we left. The staff seemed nice enough but you can tell a lot by a place by its smell in terms of food.

The xiao long bao was too sweet and not authentic. Not sure why all these reviews are good maybe they are not Chinese. Don’t recommend!

Ordered a boiled chicken with shiitake mushroom dumpling. The skin was perfect, not too thin or thick, and perfectly flavored. Not too much shiitake mushroom though. Also the steamed vegetable buns were delicious and beautifully prepared.

I was craving dumplings REALLY BAD tonight so you know the first thing I did was search up dumpling places on Google Maps…. and lo and behold there was a Dumpling Hours that I’ve been wanting to try for a while now!I went at around 6:45pm — with plenty of seats available. Service was fairly quick as we just chose what we wanted to eat through our phones — with the help of a physical menu and the pictures on the digital menu (which by the way were SUPER helpful and actually looked like what was expected). We got the egg drop soup with seaweed, the jellyfish salad with green onion oil, the ginger and scallion noodle (蔥油拌麵), pork shrimp and chive dumplings, and chicken xiao long bao (雞肉小籠包) — and honestly ALL of them hit the spot. All the portions were bigger than what I expected — and I loved how you could see them make your dumplings RIGHT in front of you too! So you know it’s fresh.Overall, service was swift and didn’t feel rushed — and I’d definitely come back here again to try other dishes! Quite authentic coming from someone who identifies as Chinese (and is a hardcore foodie LOL)

Read a lot of good reviews on this place. Finally stopped in to give it a try. Ordered 4 different dishes to take home. Unfortunately my wife and I both got sick about 2 hours after eating it. It was the only thing I've eaten all day. Hopefully it was an isolated incident.

Delicious and fast service - the hot and spicy pork xlb are great, and I love the cucumber salad and chicken wings. Don't miss this place.

Literally my family and I did not leave ANY leftovers and we ordered a ton of food. It was amazing and there was not one dish that we didn't love. I forgot to take pics because we at it so quickly hahaha. Our food came out within 5 mins of ordering and there was no wait. We had a few dumpling variations, the green beans, hot and sour soup, veggie dumplings, the fried wontons, and ginger scallion wontons. We're excited to come back! My sisters gave it a 9/10 overall! 5 stars from me :)

This is my 1st visit to this restaurant. I took my mother on a Wednesday at 11:30. The restaurant was empty so we had our pick of seating. The layout is simple and they have approximately 20 plus tables, enough to hold quite a few guests. The waitress was quick with the menus and water. I informed her that this was our first time there and she said to take our time. I knew I was going to try the Juicy Pan-Fried Pork Buns. We looked over the menu and she pointed out a few of their most popular dishes. I said I was hoping to find Shumai on the menu and to my surprise she said they do have them but it's an off menu item. We ordered both. As they were preparing our food we ordered their Wonton Soup. The restaurant started crowding up at this time. Our food came out in stages which was fine since it gave time to converse with mom.So Food review:Juicy Pan-Fried Pork Buns 4/5, visually pleasing, taste was spot on, pork mixture was sufficient for the size of the bun and it had a wonderful broth inside. The vinegar dipping sauce added just the right amount of acid to complement each bun. Gave it a 4 because they are a little difficult to eat. Chewy to bite through the pan fried section so they sort of fell apart.Shumai 3/5 they were tasty enough but on the smaller side and quite dry for being a steamed dumpling.Wonton Soup 5/5, the broth was so flavorful, not your usual clear broth but had a creaminess to it with a little spicy kick. It had noodles made of fried egg I think, some sort of seaweed and baby bok choy. The star was the wontons, that pork mixture was so luscious. Would love to know the recipe. Will I be back. Oh Yes!!!
