Ordered a 2 tier cake for my daughter birthday and look what I got.

I asked them to replace the letters with my daughter name, thinking it'd be the same little cubes shown in the picture, but nope. And there are no candy shoes and ballon! Either the picture is misleading, or the baker is not doing the job.

It's priced at $210, so I thought it might be worth it, plus it's a big brand franchise, but the lesson I learned is otherwise.

Will never go there for cakes, nor recommend to friends.

Great pastries but takes awhile to check out and really warm inside.

I ordered 4 berry custard pastries at 4 PM Saturday. They were already stale, hard and definitely not fluffy. While still edible they were a far cry from a typical French bakery in Paris or even la Chataigne in Lafayette, CA. Their doughnuts and cookies might be better.

I didn't realize they had one here, used to go to San Jose. The pastries and savories are delicious ?

They get 5 stars for being inconsiderate and unempathetic business owners. Their pastries are overly sweet, lack flavor, and are overloaded with sugar. I used to visit with my husband, eager to support the new Paris Baguette in Brentwood, hoping for the same great service as their San Jose location. However, the pastries here look stale, and the service is terrible. I don't blame the employees; it's clearly a management issue.

The safety standards are also poor—I injured my finger and ruined my nail due to a lack of safety locks on their drawers(posted video on yelp - https://yelp.to/dVMYOEhcQ9). I’m so sad to find out that my nails are forever ruined. My husband tried to reach out to management but was completely ignored (I attached his review; this is how they treat their customers—no response, not even an apology!). Horrible food, terrible service, and unsafe conditions! I do not recommend this location to anyone, especially considering their unsafe and unhealthy practices.

I recently discovered another place called Dore’s Cafe if you are looking for high-quality pastries. Their strawberry cream cake and Napoleon pastries are a thousand times better than those here, with just the right amount of sweetness. I'm still exploring more of their offerings, but they are already proving to be a much better choice.

Vegetarian options: Do not recommend

Kid-friendliness: This place has some serious safety concerns. Be extra careful when opening the pastry doors as it smashed my finger really badly, and the owners were completely indifferent when I brought this up. No apology! I wouldn't recommend this location due to safety hazards and irresponsible franchise owners/management. Plus, the pastries taste old and bland compared to other locations. If you want to try Paris Baguette, go to Dublin or Concord. The ambiance, food, service, and selection are far better.

For a great local alternative, try Dore's Cafe. Their pastries are superior with less sweetness. I posted video on my other yelp review of those drawers - https://yelp.to/dVMYOEhcQ9 So if an adult can get hurt by those, definitely not suitable for kids.

We used to be so happy that a Paris baguette opened up in Brentwood. But your lack of empathy clearly screams out loud to us, you don’t follow what you preach on your walls about happy customers, they are nothing more than a sale to you, what a shame!

We regret the day we came to the Paris baguette that day to get some pastries because there are no safety procedures in place at this location nor any responsiveness if the customer is hurt and bleeding.

I have attached photos of what happened, my wife when opening the pastry cabinet smashed her finger and we had to go to the ER to get an Xray as it was turning black and blue. That evening I returned and also took photos/videos that shows the unsafe cabinet, there are no guardrails to prevent someones finger from being smashed (as a reasonable person would expect).

The next day we spoke to the manager Nav. All we asked for is to file incident report and point him out how unsafe those drawers are.

Then days passed and the manager just kept on dragging on how “the owner is planning to call’ … “owner out of town”… “owner busy”. Finally we realized owner never intends to call so we asked for medical papers back…now we are being ghosted. Truly disappointing experience in this location.

We don’t usually write this but we have to so nobody else has to go through the same experience as we did! If I could I would put negative stars for this store.

Atmosphere was very beautiful and inviting. Very Paris cafe style and very clean. Food was very good but please do better with the cake slice size. I paid over $7 for a slice and the size was super small. I was shocked when I opened the box. I plan on going again and seeing if maybe it was just maybe by error I received such a tiny slice. Overall, I enjoyed the different varieties of pastries. It is kind of pricey, I did pay almost $50 for two lattes and 4 pastries and one slice of cake.

Absolutely in love of their cakes. They carry wide variety of cakes from coffee to fresh fruit ones. You can always find their cakes delicious with perfect amount of sweetness into it. I bought Mixed Berry Soft Cream Cake to celebrate my friend's birthday and she loved it.
Also bought few other snacks from here, they were also very fresh n very tasty.

They have small sitting area inside the store. Very clean. Shout out to people who work there. Very friendly & attentive staff.

Will definitely try their other items soon.

Thank you!

Love that place… Quality of food is just speechless. Prices are a little more than usual bakeries but totally worth it. Cakes to donuts to breads to pastries… just amazing. Plenty of different options but be on time for that because it gets sold very quickly ?

Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options.

Parking: It’s a parking lot in a shopping complex. Because of the gym I believe it’s hard to park but you’ll definitely find a spot.

I’ve visited Paris Baguette several times since it’s opened and while the food is fantastic (it always is) and the employees are kind, it is frustrating that if you’re not there before noon on any given day, you’ll barely find any pastries left to purchase.Paris Baguette is a chain bakery and if your closing hours are at 8PM, and the next closest chain is 20 miles away, I would expect after being open nearly 6 months now, you’d have an idea of how much you need to bake based on the number of average sales a day and peak hours. It isn’t helpful to simply tell a customer “to show up early.” People who work 9-5 jobs can’t always “show up early.”You lose customers if you don’t have anything to sell well before closing time and I hope the team considers reevaluating how and when they need to bake, or the cut off time for fresh pastries, or at least put up a sign to indicate when a cut off time is, to cover their peak hours.Clearly people like me are willing to buy — it would be nice to visit and walk out of the store with what I actually wanted.

Parking: Can get busy with the gym at times but overall you will always be able to find parking
