Straw Hat pizza is a great place to eat, sports, or business meetings in their banquet room. Unlimited salad bar per paying customer orders. Lunch deals are the best - mini pizza (two topping) extra topping cost more, unlimited salad, and a fountain drink. The owner has a vendor trailer for a large event elsewhere. Come check it out. Watch sport if you want to.

We have been frequently visiting Straw Hat for over 20 years. The salad bar is my favorite place to get a salad. The food is always fresh and hot, the place is always clean and the customer service is top notch. I love the fact there is a gluten free crust option. Best pizza place in the East Bay!!

I called by 6:56pm, put an order, they said your order will be ready by 20 minutes. I went there after 30 minutes. They said 5 more minutes. After 6,7 minutes I asked again they said 8 more minutes. Then again 3 more minutes. Too expensive plus very bad service. One more thing which will never bring me here again and I will advice everyone please avoid this place. Meanwhile I was there I observed they are not using gloves, girls were busy making pizza without any gloves and contacting food directly with bare hands even meat and pressing all the food without any gloves. ? I would never advice anyone to go and eat this nasty stuff.

My first time here was about a week ago and the pizza was hot and tasty but the service pissed me off. We went to the counter to pay for drinks/ salad bar and get water and we were completely ignored for about 5 mins while the owner and some young lady were at the register in front of us. We were just standing there waiting for them to at least say hi, be right with you but NOTHING. When we did order what we needed the cashier didn't feel welcoming still. Service alone makes me not want to come back.

The restaurant in lone tree way street close to winco is very dirty and they have a bad attitude. Unfortunately, when I was eating from the salad bar, there was a pinching cockroach on my salad. I showed it to the manager, he took the dish and just said sorry and gave me another plate. I asked him to change the gortan in salad bar because it came out of there. It was the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been in my whole life. My family and I could not eat and I told the staff that I am sorry for you guys. Customers trust you and pay for healthy food, not cockroaches. It is your duty to give healthy and clean food to the customer. they said just sorry we clean and chang it. I am not sure they did or not .They did not refund my money.I still feel sick when I remember it.
