I am not a big meat eater, but had a small filet mignon and it was literally one of the best steaks I've ever had. They also had a very decent house Pinot Noir for $20 a bottle. Service was great and it's a very active place. But we really enjoyed it.

My wife and collide aged daughter hasn't been back to one of our favorite restaurants since the pandenic. We we're all very excited!!! Our server Aaron was excellent! Great personality and very professional! My wife remembered the pork chop which was so tender and flavorful; with blue cheese salad! Love love loved! Sing with a bottle of the HP rose! My daughter had Hawaian swordfish;, which she loved, too sing with the soup; so so. And I had their huge, tender rib eye - Wow what a treat! Sheets enjoy their bagged potatoes! Then desert -, cheese cake is a MUST !!! Thanks again but another wonderful night with my fam - missing only our oldest surviving a major snow storm in Brooklyn!!! Wel'll all be back!!!

Don't bring your vegan friend and don't expect lots of vegetables... do expect perfectly cooked, flavorful meat, and an old school steakhouse experience. The meats really are wonderful.

Every bite taken was perfect. I got the NY steak and white shrimp screwers. Everything was cooked perfectly to order and amazingly delicious. My girlfriend had the pork chop and said everything bite was perfection.

Always great food. I even like the old school relish tray to start. Steaks are consistently amazing, and the service was very good. We like seeing the grillmaster cooking up dinner through the viewing window.

We had a table reserved but ended up eating at the bar because the bartender Arturo and his team were so great! From the warm, fun service to his excellent wine knowledge and helpful food recommendations, it was a top notch dining experience.

Be careful when you order an older wine here. I ordered a glass of port, which was a 3-ounce pour for $19. At least one ounce of this was sediment. I am very familiar with older ports, and they do have a lot of sediment. However, you are supposed to pour it through a filter before serving it to your guests so that nobody has to chew their wine. After only a few sips, there was so much sediment I could barely drink it. They must have given me the last of the bottle, with all the dregs. When I asked the waitress about it, she told me sediment is normal in this port, and she brought me a coffee filter. I do not appreciate paying full price for a partial serving. The chanterelle mushroom appetizer was tasty, as was the duck breast. However, the rest of the food was nothing exceptional. The ribs were fine, but the meat was difficult to remove from the bone. The skin on the baked potatoes was not crispy at all. The meal would have been ok although not memorable, but the $19 glass of sediment heavily tipped the scales towards a disappointing dinner. We will not be coming back.

Has been my favorite restaurant in SYV. Last 2 visits were very disappointing. Overpriced and food was mediocre. Steaks were tough. My favorite artichokes were undercooked. Just an expensive dinner that was super disappointing.
