I forgot my purse here and they kept it safely for me until I could get it back. I really appreciate their honesty.
Very nice lady at the window. My 8 year old boy wanted to put his own order and she was super nice and patient with him. I didn't get her name. But she was always smiling and with great attitude.
Pulled through the drive through the night before Lagerville 2025. An AI robot tries to take your order at first but me and my passengers outwitted it by asking for “everything” which cause a malfunction to the main frame. So after about 30 seconds a human responded. And even though we still had no idea of our order and my tallest friend that I've ever known was purposefully retarding the ordering process, the human employee had impeccable patience and exemplary service. I only understand the Untappd rating paradigm so I’d say this is a 3.25 out of five bottle caps.
Cool decor inside, love what they did with the place, have not seen this inside any other taco bell. Would go here more often if I lived in the area! One item was made wrong but they gladly fixed it and didn't ask for the error item to be returned. My gf doesn't like onions and I do, so I didn't let it go to waste! Friendly staff, thank you!
The new “automated” ordering system in drive thru is horrible. It does not always understand what is being asked for. Only thing that saved it was one of the workers jumped on the speaker box and helped us complete our order.
Taco Bell please get rid of this new option…it sucks.
Open late! Made our night@
Drove through. Food quality has gone down recently.
Used a credit card that I rarely use, and the guy at the window didn't give it back until after he handed the food out. Seemed odd for him to take the card and keep it so long, but I didn't worry about it at the time. Yesterday I was informed that the card was being used in Nevada. Looked back and this tacobell was the only place I had used the card in a month. Be careful people. Copied and sold...
Don't bother going inside. They will ignore you for at least 10 minutes.
I was passing by tacobell on my way home too Santa María the staff were very friendly and helpful . Young gentleman named Bryan helped me with my order very kind and humble. 10/10
This taco bell doesn’t take coupons and they try to avoid you interacting with humans now. AI in the drive thru and a touch screen in the dining room. Feels completely devoid of life

My work requires me to frequently travel between Paso Robles to Long Beach and all the way up to Bakersfield. I also frequently visit the Bay Area and Sonoma and Humboldt country. While being someone that travels all over the state and also being a huge Taco Bell fan, I can confirm that this is absolutely THE BEST TACO BELL IN CALIFORNIA . I stopped here for lunch on my way to work one day and everyone was extremely friendly, the restaurant was extremely clean and so were the bathrooms. My food was out very fast and I have never had such high quality Taco Bell before in my life. The cheesy Gordita crunch came out piping hot, the shell was crunchy and the flatbread was warm and soft, the amount of spicy ranch was absolutely spot on. My 5 layer burrito had the absolute perfect ratio of ingredients and was mixed together perfectly without a single drop spilled. The burrito was rolled so well I could have thrown it across town and it would still be perfectly in-tact. They made my nachos last so the chips were perfectly crunchy with the nacho cheese sauce not having a chance to penetrate into them and soften them up before I ate them. The beef just tasted a little better than other locations like it had extra seasoning or something. The lettuce and tomato was so fresh I almost was looking for a farm behind the building to see if the vegetables were being grown there. I know this is Taco Bell, but this particular location almost makes it feel like it’s a farm to table restaurant. I’ve told numerous coworkers about this Taco Bell and they all agree that this is the best in the state! We always stop here on our way up to Santa Maria whenever we get the chance. We even refer to this location as “the Buellton Bell” or “Buelly Bell” for short. The absolute dedication and perseverance that these employees have to their craft is unmatched. Never once has it just been “ok” like most other Taco Bell locations around the country. I would highly recommend all of the kitchen staff move up to be corporate chefs for the company, they set the bar high and it has been unmatched since. Thank you Buelly Bell for all the great quality you put out.

This TB will not take a drive through order without forcing you to try and use their AI ordering system that works poorly. I drove off in frustration after a human server told me he would not take my order.

I had just came down from Bakersfield and was really thirsty and placed and order for the nearest store close by and when I was receiving my order I believe the manager bryan I think was his name , was very greeting and accommodating. He treated us very friendly and because we liked his attitude when getting my drink we gave him a tip :) will definitely be stopping by next time we’re on the road !

Food tasted good enough. Unfortunately, they are way too careless preparing tacos: from ALL tacos we ordered none had guacamole properly inside taco shell, most of guac was spit and smeared on paper wrapper. Tried to explain the problem, was ignored

Find another Taco Bell! Service super sucks. Restaurant is not the cleanest. I was double charged by someone who said he was the manager. Did not pay attention to my order I end up having an order the same thing and cancel it a couple of times. I tried making a complaint on the app about the service and the cleanliness of this particular Taco Bell to no avail.
As you can see in the video, the place clearly had insects crawling around on the counter. When I recorded this, the manager you see actually called the police on me. The order was standing up there sitting on the counter for a while. I asked if it was mine, immediately the manager said no. I asked if he was certain it was not mine because it looked like they might have been. It was because someone from the back overheard me, and confirmed it was my food that had been sitting up on the counter for a while. The manager you see right there is absolutely off the chain. As you can see your food spills on the counter and insects crawling around where they put food for customers.
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all! My child tripped while walking out the door. I saw the manager watching the whole incident as it happened. He shook his head left and right and said that there's nothing he could do, I have to buy a meal all over again, and she stood there crying talking about how hungry she was.
