Food here was pretty good. Portions were quite large and not the typical Izakaya size. We got the Korean fried chicken which was really tasty. The crispy rice was ok. The regular size yakitori skewers gave quite generous portions. The decor inside is very nice.

Highly recommend for both food & service!

We were a group of 8 celebrating my sister’s graduation a few weeks ago. Our original dinner plans unexpectedly fell through – but luckily, we found Izakaya Ichie nearby. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Evangeline, who truly turned our night around.

This is the second time that we happen to randomly stopped at this restaurant, both times after the CSULB graduation.
Both times we had a great time and tonight we enjoyed salmon carpaccio, albacore cruella, some amazing Korean fried chicken wings and some hamachi collar. The ambience is nice and I love they are open really late, so it’s perfect for a post commencement dinner.
