It's good. Kind of weird that they call it beef gyukatsu. The sets are actually really nice here, at least conceptually . They give you a little grill to cook your food if you get the gyukatsu. Their gyoza and takoyaki were all forgettable. Crispy gyoza bo were near crispy enough. The place itself is on the more expensive end. The service here was pretty tepid and ultimately what decided whether I got the premium or regular gyukatsu set. Our table was still a bit sticky but...

Tried the pork katsu sando and the curry egg rice, both were amazing! The pork was so crispy and tender, and it had a really nice mustard that balanced the flavors really nicely. The curry was yummy to dip the sando into.

I was in need of a dinner place while I was around the Diamond Bar / Rowland Heights area and Yelp give me Kobe Gyukatsu on its list of possibilities. I was sold on their menu items and made my way there for a Saturday dinner right before 6pm. We must have beat the dinner rush at this sweet spot of timing as there was only a handful other tables so far. After we got settled into our meal, the entire place started filling up.
