Friendly staff, the food options for vegetarians are limited. The juices are good, but they should charge less when made with water and not milk.

Invited my 2 daughters to hang out on Saturday April 12th 2025 .
Three different dishes , with everybody well satisfastied .
Well executed food ..Recommending the Pony Malta drink as a Colombian friend of hers suggested beforehand .
- slightly fermented , non alcoholic-
One of my f daughters ordered it and after finishing my regular Coke I ordered one too .
A 4.5/ 5 star for table availability
- 6 tables for a group of 4 &
3 tables for groupe of 6 people.
Quite spacious aisle in between tables ...
A pouchless - middle upper center , standing up - bill holder for debit/ credit card..Pen was non cooperative at signing , a GEL pen is suggested......
Decor was well placed , not overwhelming , handheld menus available for all of us , music was at a level to make conversation a breeze

We ordered here and we were told our order would be ready at 7:10. Website says they’re open until 8. We arrive at 7:05, for the lights to be out, door locked and person inside refuses to open the door. I’ve called the number on their website and their door, noone will answer. But they took my charge for $165.00 and we sit at 7pm with no dinner. Do not accept orders if you do not intend on filling them.

I arrived at 5:53 PM on a Saturday 02/01/2025, well before closing time at 8 PM, yet I was met by children who informed me the restaurant was closed—without any adult staff addressing me. Extremely unprofessional. Zero stars.

In contrast, I went to Donde Adela, where I was welcomed immediately. The service was professional, the environment was clean and organized, and the experience truly reflected how Colombian cuisine should be treated—with care and respect for its customers.

Place an order to pick up on Jan 25, 2025
Arrived and order wasn't ready. Got home to find out that the entraña order was missing the rice and beans. What a disappointment.
Try to call the restaurant and got no answer.
So decided to make the review, maybe they pay a little more attention to the take out. The entraña plate is one of the most expensive dishes in the menu to be left with just half of it.

As someone mentioned before, they don't answer the phone, so you can't order ahead of time. Parking is in the back, and the only door is in the front. So you have to walk past the taco bell to get to their only entrance. Sometimes, their open sign isn't on either, so hopefully, their hours are accurate on here. They do charge $1 for credit card. I like the fried bananas, but overall everything else tasted okay. Portions are big.

I think that you should not serve a Colombian food restaurant if you don't know how to make Colombian food, we ordered a snack that said it had patacón and they brought us some slices of banana about 3 cm thick and they didn't even crush them to make it a PATACÓN, That was raw inside, the beans don't even mention it, besides we kindly asked the waiter if he could change that banana for us and the very rude cook came to tell us if they served the banana like that, and she told us “whether they want it chopped or not”, we actually didn't eat chopped food because the lady didn't want to bring it to us.

The truth is that it is sad to see how bad service and lack of knowledge of what is cooked in Colombia by people who are obviously not Colombians leave a terrible experience.
Raw bananas, the manager, instead of trying to solve it, came with a rude attitude to tell us whether or not we wanted the food, watery and flavorless beans.
The truth is, I've been to other La Chiva restaurants and it's been good, but this one... TERRIBLE 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
