This Sul & Beans in Buena Park is just as wonderful as the one in San Diego. We visited on Sunday (Fathers Day), and it was very busy. Parking would be plentiful if it wasn't such a busy day. The tables and restroom were clean.
I went in with high expectations, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. We ordered the mango Bingsu, which I felt was a shaved milk ice with lightly sweetened syrup and cut mangoes on top. While it looked appealing, the taste didn’t justify the price, and I didn’t find it worth the money. 3 stars because I tried something new and it was not overly sweetened. I wish I had tried some new flavors like ube, black sesame etc and not mangoes, strawberries. The portion...
The bingsu here is so good because they actually freeze and shave milk, not just ice! Honestly, all the flavors like strawberry, mango, and injeolmi are hits.
For a little something extra, ordering bungeoppang (taiyaki) or one of their toasts on the side is a killer combination.
