ice cream was great, I will definitely come back for another.
One of the worst ice creams I’ve had recently and $10 for their smallest size single scoop? The ingredients inside strawberries and blueberries tasted rotten and there was barely any extra ingredients other than the plain basic ice cream. Not sure how they’re surviving.
I had some time to kill, so i went to get an ice-cream and looked up this spot. There was another ice-cream parlor across the walkway, but i liked the name, so I chose this one. I got classic chocolate and vanilla ( if those taste good, they all taste good!) and was very pleased with the creamy-ness of the ice-cream and the balanced sweetness. One thing that I noticed immediately, is that customers are accustomed to traumatizing employees by asking them to place the scoops in certain orders, or they ask them to mix their ice-cream for them.......and that's why you pay $3 a scoop!
Cashier when handing me the receipt checked for the tip and had his whole deminer change. He completely ignored me when I asked for an additional spoon and lid. (the funny part is that i was going to tip in cash but bro ignoring me was Hella rude). bro did everything in his power to avoid my eyes, had to ask some other dude on the opposite side of the counter to get the lid.
okay, I never leave bad reviews… but this is because I really used to LOVE cold stone and I want this location to improve.
Reason for the low rating is because the following and I believe it’s valid:
1) they charge wayy too high prices at $1.50 per topping after the first one. Basically a small single scoop (like it size) with 3 tiny strawberry’s, 1/8 of a banana, and chocolate syrup costed like $13. Not Horrible, but high because actually I wanted to add like 3-4 more toppings which is the entire point of going to cold stone…. but it would have been around $20 for my tiny cup of ice cream which is ridiculous for the mediocre quality of ingredients that they sell. At least make the ingredients organic or healthier at that price…
2) they have no idea how to use their COLD STONE table to properly mix the ingredients…. My banana and strawberries was completely still one piece, and the chocolate syrup made my ice cream half melted half frozen and it melted all over my cup.
3) their spoons are horrible quality. it seems they use plastic from 99c store or something because my spoon broke and could not even penetrate the frozen part ice cream that they served me.
Overall, I was really sad after visiting this cold stone and probably will never go back unless they fix these things.
My advice to bring this place back to a 5/5 is to raise your base ice cream price higher to cover your costs, lower the topping price to like $0.25 per topping so that people can actually buy more toppings. Then, learn how to mix your ingredients properly so it doesn’t spill all over the cup and so that the spoons can actually collect the ice cream without breaking.
I would have been wayy happier to spend $15-16 for a properly mixed I cream with 6-8 ingredients than $13 for the sad cup that I received.
Too sweet and rediculously expensive
I ordered “Cheesecake Fantasy” online delivered. They just sent me a white ice cream without any Graham cracker pie crust. It just had a very small part of a strawberry and 2 blueberries. I have been robbed. “Cheesecake Fantasy” should be well mixed with enough strawberries, blueberries and graham cracker pie crust.
Don't they know how to make their own specialties?
I just had a “ Cheesecake NIGHTMARE Ice Cream”
Alright, this is probably one of the dead-est cold stone i have ever been to, but at the same time - the most miserable one.And clearly I am not the only one who came here to complaint about their staff. The staff that was there was a big guy, he already starting off strong giving me attitude when i asked for more than 2 samples. He gave me a strong glare. Given I was going to get something, he kept scoffing and rolling his eyes and looking at the owner who was training the new guy seemingly like he wants the owner to notice I was asking past my 2nd sample.A lot of the ice cream sample were either icy grainy (old), or too sweet, so I didn't want that for my to go?Also - considering they're not too busy or gaining any business, I'd think they'd be nicer about it. Then me asking for topping to add on was a huge problem too because that guy was not enthusiastic at all.He gave me the tiniest scoop for a small - as in the scoop did not even fill the cup + 2 topping. I paid total 10$ for a small and gained the most miserable experience, i didn't end up even finishing the ice cream and threw it away because I was so unhappy based on how he was acting. I'd rather go to pinkberry across the store than to go back to that cold stone again. highly do not recommend giving business to them, and I love supporting business.

They show the guilt tipping screen here.
Delicious! And the cool thing is that they mix all the ingredients together, so it gives it super flavor!
