While visiting Burbank, my two daughters and I stopped by Hill Street Cafe, and it felt like we stumbled upon a true local gem. The place definitely has that cozy, neighborhood diner vibe, and the staff made us feel right at home. They were incredibly attentive, constantly checking in to make sure our drinks were topped off and we had everything we needed.

We tried a mix of dishes — the ribeye steak and eggs, club sandwich, chicken enchiladas, and some onion rings — and honestly, everything was delicious. Generous portions, cooked just right, and full of flavor. It’s the kind of spot where you can tell they care about both the food and the people. Would definitely go back next time we’re in town!

Very pleasant place. All the staff were friendly. Food was very flavorful and portion size was good. I had the BLT. Lots of bacon. My wife had the Asian salad.

The bacon portion was thin. Service is good. They dont open until 8, so don't show up early.

Great spot for breakfast with the family! The menu is huge — seriously, there's something for everyone. The food was overall really tasty, and the variety makes it easy to please even picky eaters.

Some of the best pancakes that I have had in a long time. I was really impressed with this diner and thought it was a great breakfast. Burbank has a lot of great and famous diners so the fact that this one sticks out in a good way really says just how good this place is. Parking is extremely easy, they have a very large free parking lot attached. Our server Alena was extremely polite and super fast with everything. They have a huge menu filled with all sorts of options and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also felt pricing was fair and you get a lot in terms of portion size.

For my meal, I chose the Eggs San Francisco, which is basically an egg scramble with bacon and cream cheese, and I also added avocado, which I feel was a great addition. We also ordered the Pancake Combo which came with thick and delicious pancakes that were truly fantastic. I get pancakes often and these were some of the best that I’ve had in months.

Overall, a great diner in a really retro and unique setting. They have a lot of different seating options indoors and I definitely plan to be back in the near future to try more items.

Recommended dishes: Tuna Melt

Nice waiters and staff and a classic diner vibe where they don’t rush you. I ordered a tuna melt and my bread was barely toasted and it was meh. Hilight is you can have tater tots as a side. They also never came back around to offer refilling my iced tea. Wouldn’t come back for the food.
