The magic is gone. What made IKEA special for me was the little things—real silverware 🍴, proper plates, glass cups for soda, and actual mugs for coffee ☕️. It felt like a real dining experience, not just a quick bite. But now, all of that is gone. Someone decided to cut corners, ditch the dishwasher staff, and swap it all out for paper everything. It’s just not the same. I’ll truly miss the old IKEA 😢
After walking however many miles through the Ikea store in Burbank, we were starving. And tired. And our feet hurt. We went to the cafeteria and had some classics. Who knew a furniture store could serve such tasty food? The IKEA Restaurant is one of my favorite hidden gems.
