Lou, The French On The Block is a charming French café. The pastries are a highlight, with the pains au chocolat being a standout favorite, described as perfection. The almond croissants are crispy, flaky, and buttery. The iced double espresso is also a hit, with a unique and excellent blend. The owner and the staff are the absolute best. With limited hours, it's worth stopping by and expecting a line, but the pains au chocolat are very very good, with many layers of flakey crust, buttery, and soft chocolate. The café offers a few tables outside. Get there early on the weekends!
