I've tried so many chocolate croissants (my favorite) and the pain au chocolate here is very very good. So many layers of flakey crust, buttery, and soft chocolate. I wouldn't mind if they added a little bit more chocolate but I do have a sweet tooth. The service was great.

Absolutely without a doubt, the best pain au chocolat ever made! ..… And I’m not kidding! .. I’ve had dozens all over the world .…This is the best one I’ve ever had… it’s perfect… Flaky and crispy on the outside with amazing lamination and soft on the inside… Lou’s pain au chocolat is like Usain Bolt compared to the rest.. leaves them in the dust. It’s no contest … and the rest of the pastries and the sandwiches are damn fine as well… I ride my bike 10...

What can you say that hasn't already been said. I can only count myself lucky on my last visit for the rarity of there being no line *and* fresh baked almond croissants. Lightning does strike twice. Hands down the best croissants you'll find in town. Buttery, flakey, and perfect with a coffee. On top of that, the owner is the absolute best, and the staff follows suit. Get there early on the weekends!
